We are absoloutly no chance. Will have 4 of our best 5 players out against Port plus a few others who are vital to the new gameplan - Jetta, Dempsey and Lonergan.

Do not back Essendon until at least two of McVeigh, Fletcher or Lucas are back in the team. Hopefully after the Hall of Fame match you will see the real side on the park.

I think people forget how bad Carlton are. Apart from beating us, when we couldn't have played more poorly, they've beaten Melbourne (who hasn't?) and lost to Adelaide in an awfully familiar way.

WCE have their troubles but player-by-player they're still better. Over there I'm liking the over 39.5 bet at $10+.
