I don't believe in premiership windows - windows shouldn't have a pre-determined end.

Saw he racked up the stats/sc points on the weekend but didn't see the game - anybody able to comment on what kind of impact he actually had?
Essendon "can" win the flag. Just like any other finals team can. If we didn't have injuries and so forth, we could make a charge.

Don't be silly! whichever team that scrapes into 8th possie will have NO chance of the flag. Simply too many better teams above, that's all.
But what if we finish 7th?![]()
It was a pretty soft game in terms of pressure. We are a better kicking side than last year, but not by that much.We will finish seventh, and depending on how we play, we might even get three games out of September. But beating either Geelong or Collingwood in September is a very tall order. I don't think that will happen.
I just finished watching the game (PVR replay). The boys kicked a helluva lot better; I don't know if that was due to less pressure from the Doggies at times, or more likely intense coaching in that department, something that Jimmy has been stressing on as a priority.
They also recovered very well after the Doggies piled on 5 straight in the third; which means they have more belief in each other as well as confidence in their own game.
I'm blabbing, aren't I?![]()
