Congratulations on missing the point. I acknowledge that my club did things that either broke or came close to breaking rules and that this is where the situation stems from. Then speak to the people who leaked the names to the press. The fact is the Joint Investigation did happen and was given the green light by the "rule makers". Had the EFC not either through intent or incompetence broken the rules then there would be no investigations of any sort.
Also the 60 pages of hurr-durr WADA code etc you refer to is being quoted because that is what this scandal is being investigated against and primarily used to charge the EFC and the players against (if charges occur). Therefor it does have relevance. Much more relevance than cover up conspiracies or Essendon are too big for the AFL not to have competitive hope.
Don't be mad at me or the press for the players plight; speak to those at the club responsible for getting them into this situation in the first place.
My point was that this situation has been handled in a disgusting manner since it began. No fairness, no due process, no respect for the people or the investigative process that should be followed. If this were a criminal investigation (which some players in it should potentially be subject to) I'd hope there'd be some semblance of ethics displayed.
