Essendope Caller on SEN with inside info

Interesting, interesting, interesting call from an Essendope supporter on SEN this morning, apparently with inside information about the club.

Apparently, Hird will not be coach next year, for starters. That's not too hard to fathom as he's likely to get punishments for his wrongdoings.

However, the caller also said that Paul "something would have to change" Roos would be coaching the Dons next year.

What do other Essendope fans think of this? Haduken I am sure your balanced *cough* commentary is needed here.

Personally I think Roos is a flog who'd be right at home on the Bay (the absolute mastery with which he disguises his trolling as intelligent commentary often leaves me speechless) but given he's carefully cultivated a reputation of being a quality bloke almost as well as Hird has -excuse me, Had- I fail to see why he'd willingly sully said rep to take over from Golden Boy.

No one in their right mind would want to associate themselves with Essenjection right now. I expect its players to request trades by the buttload at the end of the season too.

Hird won't be coaching next year, Essendon will either remove him, or he'll step down, or the AFL will intervene. Roos has been cagey about coaching for a while, which means he's simply waiting for the right chance/offer.

Well me and a mate spoke with Goodwins brother down at McLaren Vale on Saturday and he was saying the club's asked Simon to fill in as care taker and Hird wont be coach before this weekend.

The Bombers will not be getting a new coach until WADA are finished with the club they may get a caretaker coach but Roos isn't coming in until he knows what he has to work with...it may not be pretty.....can't see Goodwin pointing the club in the direction it needs to go even as caretaker
