Let me play out the worst case scenario that will really just sum this season up

Liverpool lose to Chelsea (6pts ahead)

We beat Fulham, they beat Newcastle (6pts ahead)

They inevitably roll us over (3pts ahead)

We beat West Ham, they beat Fulham (3pts ahead)

We lose to Chelsea away, they beat QPR at home (finish below on goal difference)

Only time all season they would be above us, and that's how it would stay. Won't that just be a kick in the teeth when in reality so many of our draws and a couple of our few losses should have been wins?

That would just be awful ossie_21. Tonight I don't know if I want Chelsea to win so I'll hope for a draw and Manc to smash Spurs to keep some hope of getting that 5th place.

**** we should have beaten Sunderpants with ease!

Yep Suarez is in deep trouble.
Still a very dissapointing end to the season for Everton. I hate it when Everton play these type of games and completely choke. All we hear afterwards is " Well we don't spend as much as other sides so it is a successful season" Do not get me wrong, we do need to spend more!! But money is not the reason we lost to Wigan in that FA cup game or lost league games against Norwich, drew against QPR, Southhampton etc.

I just do not buy into the whole If Moyes leaves Everton are suddenly battling relegation.

South African midfielder Daylon Classen on trial with us today apparently. Available on a free. Lord knows if he's any good.

Available on a free. Sounds like our kind of budget.
But to me the timing of a trial seems very strange. We have no idea who our manager will be next season. Should Moyes be making decisions on players now while his future is unclear?

Great article on our potential without Fellaini. Completely agree.

That is great in theory but we must spend all the Fellaini funds if he is sold. We did not re-invest the Arteta money and we did not spend everything from the Rodwell sale. We cannot keep selling players and then only reinvesting a portion. And we cannot afford wholesale changes, if Fellaini is the big name that leaves so be it, but we cannot have other like Baines leaving as well.

While players like Neville leaving that will surprisingly free up funds so would Moyes leaving. Aka the highest paid manager in the Premier League.

I would look to hold onto both Jelavic hoping he can get back to form and Anichebe. If we can bring in a minimum of 1 more established striker we can continue to try and develop Vellios and McAleny. I still think Gueye has something to offer so would bring him back from his loan spell for next season.

But once again the players are saying they are tired and struggling. If Fellaini leaves we must see 4 to 5 new faces.
