Why no love for big Roberto?

Wigan have probably had as much money as us to spend or maybe more? Correct me if I am wrong.

Apart from the FA Cup final, where has it got them?

On a comparable budget to ours, he has only just avoided relegation for about five consecutive seasons. Had some luck gone against them, Wigan could be in League 2 by now.

He'd probably get us playing attractive enough football, but Wigan have always been a shambles defensively. Not much confidence in him.

No idea who is better though. That's the problem.

I know nothing about Porto's Vitor Pereira, but I'd take him over anyone else rumored at the moment.. Come back to Everton Slaven Bilic??

As for the replacement, I don't want Martinez either and I don't want Laudrup. He mostly took over what Rodgers did at Swansea

Rodgers just carried on the work of Martinez and Sousa in the first place. IMO either Martinez or Laudrup would be fantastic gets for Everton. Martinez in particular.

I would have thought Everton spend far more than Wigan.

Very unsure of Martinez has several things fors and against him. He's young, has Premier League experience and knows how to work with a small budget, whilst avoiding relegation is an achievement for a team like Wigan he still can't ever seem to improve them each year you see them preform to basically the same level, I would want to bring in someone who can improve Everton not just keep us treading water.

If Wigan do get relegated though I wouldn't be able to justify bringing in a manager of a club who was just relegated.

Well as far as attracting a new manager from a financial point of view lets not forget what Everton are paying Moyes makes him the highest manager in the league currently!
Really? Wow.

I started following us around the time he started so really only know him as a manager and am very nervous about what could happen when someone new takes over the reigns.
So you should be. We were a complete rabble for 10 years before Moyes took over.Very luck not to be relegated a couple of times.

Really disagree with the decision to make him manage us for the rest of the season.

Not sure who steps in..... Could also depend if any of the staff planning on going to Man U with Moyes.

Maybe give the reigns to Big Dunc for the last 2 games.
