Played quite poorly for most of it, but I put that down to fatigue and a bit of a lack of interest. Their heads clearly weren't in it, hence the frequent bust ups.

Still confident we'll be right next weekend.
 
The form of Osman is really concerning me. He has been close to our worst in every game he has been involved in pre-season.
 
Geez I'm keen for the season to start. Jelly and Mirallas are going to tear it up under Martinez and I'm really interested to see how we go under Martinez. I want Barkley and Stones to start the first match though, the confidence they will get from that will be huge for them and they have done well in the practice matches.

Might get your wish with Barkley starting, Gibson looks like he will not come up for the game this week. Do not think they will throw Stones in.

My team I'd like to see to open the season this weekend, provided Gibson doesn't recover in time. If we go 5 at the back with wing backs, I would have Fellaini dictating the play from deep midfield, Pienaar & Barkley more central & Mirallas just behind Jelavic. (Pretty much 3-3-2-1-1) By all accounts, Mirallas will hit the ground running this season. Can see him running amok, hopefully he won't get his niggling injuries this season!

Yes, I may be slightly excited the EPL is back this weekend :D
 
Great to have the prem back. Ideally I am watching a Power win at AAMI and then rolling back home to park myself in front of the tv. I still think Martinez will start Osman this game.

I know the season is yet to start, but the pre-season games left me a little underwhelmed with Kone. Lets hope he can get firing from the start.

Not sure work will let me post this.... but this youtube clip last night was getting me a tick excited about Kev.:p

So.. I have tickets to Everton v Chelsea, to the side of the Chelsea dugout I believe. I wanted to be close to Mourinho.. Plus its the Gladwys side so I get to see us turn it on in the 2nd with Baines.

Smashing them in terms of possession but not with chances. You can tell its opening day, but my first impressions of the style is that we will be very threatening, just hope we don't get so lazy/falling asleep when it comes to defence.

Got a Mirallas home kit on the way, still deciding for the away kit but leaning towards Barkley. Looking very lively for us here. COYB!
