I can see an exciting brand of football emerging from our youngsters. Our next 3 games at the G are very winnable and Brown and Simmo will be huge bonuses when they return

you can back it in. PIes at the g on a fiday night? and a win? PLough s god. Bwahhaahaaa. Swans at the G on a saturday after losing to the blues? naaaa... You really havent worked out how Plough goes about his business have you?
I am not bagging him, we are light years away and he knows it. But he also knows what he needs to do to keep the wolves at bay.
Dont forget, Simmo breaks ankle. "we are confident he will be ready for round 1". Now we look at round 3, and "we are confident he will be ready". ;)

I don't care how exciting the brand of football we play as long as we win some games.

Next three games:

Collingwood: Are much improved but will be tired after there perth trip. Should beat them.

Western Bulldogs: We will lose

West Coast: We will lose (badly)

The dogs should have lost by 12 goals today. WC are beatable. We almost beat Sydney with no ruckman and no Brown. They will be there when we play WC. We need to come out and attack and take risks on Friday night. That's when we are at our best

I agree with the below point

First things first. WIN A GAME. We have got to beat the little birdies R3 otherwise the spirit will drain from the fans and it will be another uphill trek all year. if we beat them and go on to beat the Dogs which is doable we are on a roll.

the eagles are not beatable they always give you a chance because of their rubbish forward line but always turn up when its time to win

this is the reason round 1 was so bloody important people think you can just bounce back but its not that easy if we dont win this week then forget about it

Hey Madtiger I know what you're feeling.

I was like that after 95.

Full of optimism about the future and more positive but this is Richmond, the club that doesn't care, the club who couldn't give a flying **** about trying to win at all costs and we will most likely be in graves when we do win one.

200 year plan!

It's a new club now with new people. We still meeting at 6:15pm Friday night at the outside of the same gate?

To see clubs all around us ,Brisbane,Essendon just pop up out of nowhere while we stay the same makes me all the more pissed off and frustrated.

Then all the questions come in to my brain like

"Does the club really want to be successful or are they happy with the money situation?"

"Why are we stuck in first gear for the last 20 odd years?"

Sheedy moonface has put a curse on our club.

I swear when Richmond was nearly extinct back in the early 90s,Sheedy would have been there to celebrate the event.

"Why do ex Richmond players loathe their old club so much and criticise it all the time?"

"Why do we get crucial injuries to our best players?"

It's never gonna end until Sheedy lifts that curse.

I swear we are under The Sheedy Curse.

I really want Carlton to win next week.

Essendon have made me from a happy teenager to a bitter old man suffering from depression.

Essendon can pay my medication bills!

I had the number 10 on my back when I was a young kid.

I loved Sheeds.

Not any more.

KB finally came to his senses and walked into Punt Road.

I still have the feeling that it was Sheeds fault in the first place that KB didn't come back sooner.

2 stubborn irish mules.:(

We will never win a flag.

Let's stop kidding ourselves.

Stop living in the past Smasha. The 80's and 90's are gone. It's a new club now. Seeya at the gate at 6:15 Friday night

Only music is where you should live in the past, but not footy ;)

Smasha I hear you Loud 'n' Clear.

Why can the bombers after a dismal year get back up so quickly and look likely to at least play decent footy. At least they've got a bit of toughness and don't shirk away from the rough stuff, unlike our friggin' fairies.

I've had a gutful of pitiful performances and couldn't give two schits about fking timetables, windows of opportunities, graphs, powerpoint fecking presentations. Just win a game FFS.

Because the Bombers have quality in the over 25 bracket.

They have Hird, Lloyd, Lucas, Fletcher, Michael and McPhee to name a few. Inject a bit of youth, the next lot of players hitting their peak at 23-24 years old, good run with injury and they'll be up and about again.

Take a look at Sheahans top 50, we had Bowden in, and Richo, Simmonds and Brown are probably the only other players that'd make that list. In saying that only Brown would get anywhere near the top ten.

Brisbane have the same thing happening as Essendon, as do Port Adelaide.

Our older players are just not consistent reliable performers. Gaspar goes near the ball, and you cringe. Richo shoots for goal from 20 out straight in front, and you hold your breath. Bowden kicks out from full back and either over steps or kicks a complete and utter clanger.

We have the new batch coming through, you can almost pencil Schulz in for a goal when he marks inside 50, Petts is also becoming consistent and also Newman. So this is why 2011 is it.

If we don't beat the Pies we will finish bottom 2. If we do beat em we will most likely still be 1-4 after 5 rounds. Not good :o
