what do other Eagles supporters expect out of season 2004?
I would want a top 6 finish as a minimum after round 22 and to gain some finals cred we must win at least 1 finals game.

I would suspect Woosha would want a top 4 finish and to make the prelim as a realistic goal

i don't have any set expectations but I would like to think a good chance for top 4 and to win a final and any rewards beyond that point if the team is good enough.

Woosha would be thinking similar and congrats Woosha on little Grace, baby girl

Well I think our aim should be to atleast make it to the Preliminary final next year. Were good enough if we can sort our KPP put imo. SO I guess were looking at a top 4 position and two finals wins.
Its time for these boys to do something special and go ahead in leaps and bounds.

Congratulations on baby Grace Woosha! Lets just say I would hate to be the first guy that she brings home!

Woosha: WHo are you?
Boy: Im the boyfriend, who are you?
Woosha:*Glares at kid*........Im the FATHER!

What do I expect? Further improvement and a good crack at everything they do at every stage of every game.

Congrats to the Whooshas, though another boy (from memory he's got one of each already, Sophie & Charlie?) would have been better ;) Ahh well, #4 can be a boy.

Any word on the second junior Jakovich? Gotta be making an appearance soon.... (No, I'm not obsessed :p)

I expect a finals victory this year. Preferably top 4 (we were one win off top four this year). We just need to win a friggin finals game though.

Top 4 is a realistic goal. Im not making excuses but we did lose Embley, Fletcher and Gardiner, 3 of our most influential players all at the same time, late in the season. If the injury bug can be kind to us, I see no reason why we cant finish top 4 and have a real crack in the finals.

There's a predictions thread on the main board, and a lot of people are tipping us for a bottom 8 finish.

Good on 'em

Just like the last 2 years too.

I couldn't really give a flyer what supporters of other clubs expect for our club.

It's like some of their Phantom Drafts. One has this to say about the Eagles.

"A rubbish goal-to-goal line and hemoraging KP players they have to get a big bloke." "Johnson and Staker have a 10th of this kids footy smarts"

Some of these interstaters haven't a clue about what goes on over here in the West.

Even the so called experts from last year were way off the mark.

Let them have their little fantasies.

I'd like to think we could go top-4. But Doogs and Glass must continue to improve, and we need to get Gaspar onto the park in a consistent fashion. Maybe we can work Seaby into the mix as well.

Of course, we need to take it one week etc.
