Was on my bike at the pines sliding round a corner, going beautifully too i must say. Back wheel was spraying a nice mist of dirt untill it hit a stump i didnt see that was sort of just under the sand.
Well the wheel grabbed that stump and thru the bike out from under me, fell on my arm dislocating my shoulder. I have no problem admitting here i screamed like a baby, and could barley move.
If you know the Gnangarra pines youll know it goes a fair bit in, I walked as far as i could till some bloke came past looked at my shoulder and told me to stay there hed go get his car.
Anyway he gets his car takes me to Joondalup hospital, and trys to park out front of emergancy entrance.. There having a bloody fire drill and no one was allowed to enter the building!! They couldnt even give me anything for the pain because we were outside, all they could do was put me in a wheelchair. Only way i was going in was if it was life threatining.
Anyway 20 mins later im in, and two nurses relocate my shoulder.
Instant relief!
Dislocating my shoulder was the worst pain i have ever felt, id go as far as to say id rather be kicked in the nurries than feel that pain ever again!!

sounds like you live near perth :p
doing a bit of cross country mountain biking?? :)

When I was hit in the eye, it was the most intense pain i'd ever felt, I lost count how many times i threw up over it, and 12 months later I had permanently lost vision in the eye, until artificial retina's are created.

dislocations always suck, the pain is from the muscles, tendons & ligaments being torn, strained and stretched way past what they were meant for.

Was actually a dirt bike VB..
P_D i should of added that it happened about 7 years ago, and that i had, what doctors called an "instable shoulder" which in laymans terms means it would "sublux" all the time, or semi dislocate. Im guessing if you wake up with it like that than you probably suffer the same thing i had. And by the smilie im also guessing you know exactly how painfull it is. I waited roughly 5 years to get it fixed and suffered hundreds of "dislocations" in that time. Guess 1 thing it did was toughen me up, though id still take the shot at the balls any day. :D
Oh and that vid brought back some memories........

I've had a few painful experiences, but not as violent as you guys.

But it was at school, back in grade 10. We were playing hockey and my friend is a good player. She can swing it hard and is very tough. Well, my friend missed the target and swung right on to my bottom leg. My legs just buckled and I fell to the ground screaming. It was excruiciating.. and the pain wouldn't just diappear. It was searing and throbbing on that area.. PAINFUL. I had this HUGE bruise for a week or so.. and 3 years on... the bruise is faintly there. And, if you press on it.. it still hurts.

When I was a young tacker, about 2 or 3, my Dad was mixing cement in the backyard.
I, fascinated by the cement mixer, decided to see how it worked. As young kids do, a good way to examine things is to touch them....
I put my hand into the chain and then......pain. Even though I was very young, I still remember how bad the pain was. My Dad rushed me to the Doctors surgery where they injected me with god-knows-what and told me to come back the next day.
Next day, my Mum took me back over where the doctor unbandaged my hand and Mum fainted from the sight. I had compound fractures in my middle and ring fingers and my hand was fractured in three places along with my other fingers.
15 years and seven operations later, the nail on my middle finger (the worst inflicted one) has still not grown back.
Worst pain I have ever been in.

Disolcated and broke a finger, not so bad, except I did it at the start of a long weekend (sat) and the Dr i saw couldn't do anything with it as it needed surgery to reapir and that couldnt happen til the (tues).

So I had a dislocatead and broken finger for over 2 days and with nothing for the pain but some shitty panadeine forte that might as well have been jelly beans for all the good they did.

Me and my brother had a fight last year. We were fighting pretty hard and i was trying to throw punches but that was difficult cause he is much taller and stronger. More to the point, my stupid idiot Bitch cousin who is 7 decided she would be a hero and try to seperate us, the stupid idiot ****ing bitch toebashed me right in the left testical. I've been hit in the balls alot of times and its hurt but no ball hitting there compares to the pain i felt. I felt her toe going in there, i got so angry i started punching my brother out of frustration. Anyway i had my mum call Nurse on call for me and ask whether i should go to the hospital and get it checked out. I am however ok and there wasnt any serious problems (god i hope i can have kids).

Sounds like the Gallagher brothers

Have dislocated my shoulder before......hurts like a motherf*rker.:thumbsd:

Worst pain however was when i was playing indoor cricket. Dance down the wicket and the guy basically bowled it at my head, so while still moving down the wicket I attempted to duck the ball and proceeded to roll my front ankle so bad that I dislocated my ankle and my fibia and tibia hit down on the ground. All the ligaments in my ankle got ripped to shit and I shattered the base of the two bones in my lower leg.:thumbsd:

On a positive at the time i was 130kg plus and the experience inspired me to lose a heap of weight and get fit.:thumbsu:

Geez everyone has had it realy bad on here. Worst I have had is when I was 6 playing tag or dodge or whatever. Turned around to see if anyone was chasing me and ran into one of those big metal skips. Slashed my forehead and had to get 10 stitches. Didnt realy hurt toooo much. or might have just been in shock.

Have broken my nose twice playing footy. Kicked 4 goals in the 1st quarter in school footy was ready for a huge game and few seconds into the 2nd quarter had my nose broken. Came back to early and school footy again got a slight knock and it broke again!

Torn Ligiment in my ankle was pretty painful. Kept playing the following weeks without strapping my ankle and I always wander why it gets sore haha

But im lucky never strained or torn a muscle and no lingering affects from any injuries besides a slightly crooked nose.

Now I just have tio get of my ass and play footy again as I have no excuses whatsoever

ive had a couple but not as bad as some people on here.

the first 5 mins of the first round of the season i broke my colarbone....some kid got under me and when we landed he landed on it, but i managed to hold the ball and there was a ball-up. and seems though i never broke a bone before i thought...wow, this hurts haha but maybe its just been overstretched and the pain will go soon!....but it didnt and i ended playing with a broken colarbone for another 5 mins and when i stuck my arm out to tackle this kid it hurt so bad it felt like my arm was torn off. that is when i went off and went to tha hospital and found out it was a clean brake :o

just coming back from that broken colarbone, same team, same ground and beleive it or not....same person slung me after i got rid of the ball and my head crashed into his knee on the way down and split my head open. didnt no it until 5 min later when an opposition player said that blood was pouring out of my head. got 5 stitches in it and wasnt real pleasant. that game was on a friday night and we had a catch up game on the saturday and i decided to play that and just get a helmet. but the helmet sucked so i played with no protection over the stitches, and there was a pack going up for the ball (i was full forward) and seems though i was playing full forward i thought...'im full forward, i should be contesting these situations', so i ran to the pack (perfect screamer opportunity) and got up on a guys shoulder and took the mark of my life haha. to bad a guy behind me wanted to do the same thing and when i went down he went on top of me and landed straight on my head where the stitches were. my head was numb for about a day.

playing in victoria, i was always our teams full back. the ball was down there for a ball-up and the ruck-man wasnt there so i tried it and this kid jumped so early that his knee went straight into my chest. couldnt breath and is such a bad feeling getting extremely winded. i have had many of these happen to me and alot of them in the nuts aswell.

still doesn't beat my bike accident at 5 years old, flipped the handle bars, a bit of blood, didn't feel anything except for a sting, went to piss about 6 hours later, was screaming in agony, jocks were drenched in blood, I couldn't piss for days, walk properly, anything, i ended up with a split happy sack, and a big ass scar from the end of my noodle to the edge where the happy sack joins the groin.

beat that.
What do the ladies say?

My stories aren't really worth mentioning, but I will anyway. When I was 10 I broke my leg playing footy, I can't remember the pain that vividly at all though. Around the same time, I climbed a barbed wire fence near a farm just so I could get my football back (haha, man I was stupid) which made a couple of scratch scars on the side of my stomach.

Ripping my hamstring for the first time. I was at training, back in 1994 and felt this horrible ache in my hamstring.
Also was doing a ruck duel and copped a corkie on my thigh. God it hurt.
Thank god I am not a boundary umpire.

Have seen goal umpires and field umpires get the footy in the nuts.

At 13.... There was some scrap metal and gutters lying round the back of our house... The gutter was standup and I was walking through the passage to get to the back of our house... I knock it down on my foot (wasn't wearing shoes) and the sharp side came down and cut a deep gash across my foot... Lucky it didn't hit any major arteries or capillaries... Only the bone stopped my foot from being cut in half...

At 16.... Was being a cocky wicket keeper for my school, was behind the wicket WAYYY too close getting ready for my friend Vando to bowl one of his fasties... Anyway, hit a ditch, bounced a bitch and smacked me right in the face... Knocked out my front two top teeth.. Blood everywhere... I passed out from the pain and blood loss...

At 17.. Getting bottled for no reason.... With a real bottle, not the sugar bottles they use in movies

At 20... Was working with my dad on a pool and was standing on a precariously unstable ladder... There was some corrugated iron in the ground and I fell onto it.. Put my arm in the way but in length a gash of 32.7 cm down my arm... Couldn't do SFA for ages... Again, lucky it missed my arteries...

Hav fallen into a few empty pools in my time, head first is a bitch lol

I had bad neuralgia in year 12 after being crunched big time in the back playing against the fattest, most solid bastard around. A few weeks after the incident, i would get a sharp pain around my heart that was so bad, apparently equivalent to a heart attack. This happened nearly every day over the next week or so. I remember going home on the train from school and i had an 'attack', i was on the floor of the carriage holding my chest, my mates thought i was dying, screaming out to stop the train. i remember saying, "boys, its sweet!". but thats about it for me.

Jumping over the fence at waverley, one leg of my jeans got caught in a nail and I landed on my right foot...well sort of. I landed flat on my ankle which gave way and met the ground. I did my ligaments. I then tried walking unaided across the ground to get to the members which was where the exit gate was (with my jeans completely torn from thigh down on my left leg). There was nothing holding my ankle together, it was like jelly. I rolled it a further 3 times. The pain was excrutiating. I will never forget that pain. Thinking about it all these years later still makes me squirm. Worst pain ever.

Being bitten by a cat was very painful. Unlike a dog, they can't alternate the pressure they apply when they bite, so they always bite full on. Their teeth are very sharp, and the wound became infected.

my cat play bites me and it doesnt hurt at all. Its cute, I feel teeth but barely any pressure. Shes an adult cat but it feels like a kitten bite. Maybe the cat was really trying to hurt you, but from my experience they can choose how hard they bite.

Reminds me of the time I drank oil as a 6 year old. Not much pain there, but needless to say it wasn't the best thing I've eaten (though probably better than anything else that was served on that plane trip :D). Over a decade on, I can still taste the oil on my tongue every time I think about it. :(

Appendicitis was a bitch. Ten times the pain than when I broke my wrist twice.

If I wasn't lying crawled up on the floor of the car, my mum would've kept dismissing it as a normal stomach ache and the appendix would have burst eventually. Hospital said it was a close call.

fielding at short cover, guys creamed it into my knee which then went on to my jaw, couldnt walk or talk

then 2 weeks later running on the boundry on the worst ground you will see and i do my knee in a pothole, everyone thought i ws joking, 10 mins of the worst pain u til the greenstick came

Well they probably aren't as painfull as other people's experiences but I have a rather low pain threshold. (& some happend when I was younger but they were painful then :o)

When I was 6 I dropped a brick on my big toe, & when I went to school some of the kids accidently stood on it.... was really painful. Then the toenail went really blue & purple & fell off.

When I was about 10 I was riding after my sister & a friend on a dirt track. They had rode down the hill before me & stupidly stopped at the bottom, waiting for me. I couldn't get past them at all & rode up the back of my sister & flipped over the front & landed on & under my bike. Was really painfull, hurting all over. But was lucky & escaped with only big bruses.

When I was 11 I had to get 3 warts cut off my knee, without any painkillers..... I was laughing, crying, screaming & completely hysterical!!

In the same year & fell over at school & took a chunk of skin out of my knee, it was really gross....

In the same year (again) I was running around with no shoes on, playing tiggy. My friend was wearing joggers & he stood on my toes. I swear they were broken or close to it anyway but I don't think I told my mum because I was going on school camp the next day & wasn't going to miss that! Was on camp for a week & for the first few days I couldn't wear thongs (shoes:cool:) properly.

2 years ago I was at hockey training & somehow (still can't work out how) this girl swung really hard at the ball & accidently hit my finger. F*** it hurt. I have also had some pretty painful finger injuries from playing hockey but can't remember them very clearly.

obviously they aren't very painful to some, but they were to me at the time........ meh.

When it was 2 days before my 5th or 6th birthday-I can't remember which one, I was playing soccer in my backyard with a few of my friends. The ball went down the side of the house where it leads to another enterance to the house. I then never watched where I was going and ran into the corner of a pile of bricks with my left knee. Blood went everywhere and I needed stiches.
