I think there will be a roster shake up before mania if they want to do that feud. Even with Sasha there as a face currently they're thin with women faces. Sasha, Bayley and Mickie James. Mickie could be used better to fill in I guess.

Banks is fine. She's had plenty of time in the title picture recently so this feud keeps her on TV and gets her involved with other people. Foxy is great too.

Overall it was a very WWE PPV. Good to great matches with some interesting booking decisions and questionable storyline developments.

In fact every match on the card was either good or very good, with two exceptions - the Women's Title match was a dud and the main event was awesome.

Alexa vs Bayley was just so disappointing. I get it, Bayley is the underdog nice girl loser, but she needs some sort of development or at least a moment where she can get the crowd behind her again. The WWE seems to think Daniel Bryan "loser booking" will always work, but Bryan got over in spite of his booking not because of it.

The main event however was excellent. Good pace throughout, good spots, everyone had their moment and I think the winner was up in the air until the very last moment. Joe vs Lesnar has the potential to be awesome and makes sense for Lesnar's next match. Unfortunately we know Joe isn't winning but he can afford to be fed to Lesnar more than Reigns, Rollins or Balor can.

Also, there's nothing I hate more in wresting than the ****ing door in a cage match. Chain that shit shut and make it escape over the cage only (if there's no pinfall or submission). It completely takes me out of the match when they try to climb instead of just walking through the door, or when they stop their opponent leaving rather than simply waltzing out after them.

Alexa vs Bayley was a burial. People talk about burials all the time here, but that was what one looks like. Alexa talks all along about how Bayley can't go extreme, and what happens? She doesn't and so Alexa hits her with the kendo stick then drops a DDT and pins her. The end.

Have Jax with Alexa for a while then turn her face on Alexa would be a good story for a while. Similar to Owens/Jericho

I think it's possible, but it wouldn't be good. Can't see her getting over as a face, in fact I can see some Reigns style backlash if they push her too hard.

There are no RR, WM main event or Taker retirement match equivalents for reactions that nuclear at least.

Sasha's had her time and I think everyone has Sasha fatigue (in terms of being champion or chasing the title 3243432 times).

Bayley's an interesting case, should have retained the belt in her home town ppv and dropped it this one. I don't see the huge appeal of Alexa (aside from the blonde look), don't rate her ring skills.......... decent on the mic (however unlike most heels she just gets an eyeroll - as in this is boring schtick from me rather than the typical heel boo reaction).

She doesn't necessarily have to win the belt back. Just needs to stop being made to look so weak and silly. Why the hell should anyone believe in that?

True. Regardless any heel turn on Bailey is not going to mean anything while she's booked like such an embarrassment. Champ or not.
