In all seriousness, don't think many of us saw Graham, so it might be tough to make a fair assessment.

Both players were legendary in their own eras. They both boast a full ensemble of distinguished awards, and their credentials speak from themselves.

Ablett is often talked about as one of the greatest players of the game, but I’m sure had have Polly played another 50/100 games in the VFL he would also be part of that illustrious group.

My dad & uncle always go on about how Farmer revolutionised the game with his use of handball. He must have been a great player to have such a big impact.

Polly was an awesome player, his handball was revolutionary, it seemed to me handball was for getting out of trouble until the Big Cat made it a lethal weapon. It was not only his handball though, his kicking and marking was excellent and every move he made seemed effortless, his understanding with his rover/ small players and palming of the ball was uncanny.

Both Are legends at Geelong and they played in different Eras

Polly really made the handball a great part of the game dont forget Geelong invinted the handball.
Is it true that he could handball a footy through a car window partly open from across the street if seen a picture of it but i was wondering if anyone remembers that?

Gazza Was on of the greatest players of all time he was a freak.
One of the best marks and freakish kicks for goal ive ever seen.

They have been both great players in there era and will always be greats at the Geelong Football Club.

On World of Sport Polly drilled bullseyes in the handball with both left and right with ridiculous ease.

A Moving car thats just freaky thank god a great player like that wore the blue and white.

Ablett has done the most for us and is probably the better player in victoria.

But Polly is probably the biggest legend in wa followed by hayden bunton and barry cable... Polly has a frickin tunnel and freeway named after him so must of pretty close to the man.
