If I recall correctly, I believe he also got into trouble many years ago by insulting aboriginals when he was drunk (whilst on a flight?) during his channel 9 commentary days? Anyway, its amazing that people are actually paying this bloke to hear him speak.

I reckon it was more than 10 years ago since Mahatma Cote. I reckon his popularity would have been 1996-97 or so. (of course this is just based on memories, could be wrong)

Anyway this shit doesn't surprise me at all. My fave bit was this

Ritchie - ""Kepler and I are great mates and that hasn't changed in my view"'
Wessels - "I have no idea what he might be referring to - I haven’t even spoken to him since the early 80s."

lol

The worst bit by far is throwing Keppler's name into the mix... Ritchie can sink into the anonymity of Australia were this will be forgotten but to throw the "K" word into the mix with Wessels and have him face the music in South Africa.... shit bloke Greg Ritchie .

i can't believe in this day and age he is actually allowed to paint his face like that

He can paint it anyway he wants as I don't think he cares. To be honest it's satire and you can't play the role of an Indian without painting the face black. All depends on that word "context and what context it's done in. While I don't mind people thumbing their nose at political correctness he might've taken it a tad, make that a big tad, too far and made it a bit, alot, too racist. There are people who hate the political correctness enough though to pay and be entertained by such stuff.

Mahatma Cote is an anachronism. No longer relevant, nor acceptable. Time to let it go Greg.

Memories from a bygone ere - I recall Jimmy Maher covering himself in glory on the Brisbane Footy Show after they finally one the shield describing how much grog he'd had. I reckon Fat Cat or Matham was on the Panel.

More flashbacks on Fat Cat. The famous Waugh in the Windies tour of '95 broadcast by Galaxy featuring the late great Puerto Rican fader Hookesy and Mike Coward.

Steve Waugh reaches his 200 and there is a pitch invasion, front and centre is Fat Cat! Brian Lara allegedly chipped him and said words to the effect that you should no better and Fat Cat told him where to go. Hilarious stuff!

I remember it being Richie Ricardson, but shows what an idiot he is. Making racist jokes around South Africans is like making Nazi jokes around Germans, it's a sore spot.

Kaffir comment was very poorly thought out. But what the **** does racism have to with Islam?
Everyone know that if you say something against Islam you are racist.

The Islamic "joke" didn't even make sense anyway. The fact that the boys were "Islamic" didn't have anything to do with it, and since the joke apparently relied on judging people from their appearance (presumably he adapted it from the Aboriginal version) I'm not really sure how you can tell anyway.

As for the Imran Khan comment, as far as I'm concerned if he thinks Imran Khan is a nob he should feel free to say so.
