Is it fair to say the club is earmarking Tanner Armstrong as our inside midfielder via NGA in next years draft.

I know a little about him but not a lot. From memory the knock on him was his disposal by foot.
Can rack them up though and win a clearance.

His skills and disposal are good, but might look off because of the action trait he got from his uncle and dad.

Its pretty obvious that the club has been in constant communication with Louis throughout the year.
It wouldnt of been a surprise to him.

Could it be that they saw much more potential in NRT than Louis? Seeing as they are both inside players but NRT a much better athlete and has forward potential also?

Really feel for him, but this is a competition at the end of the day. Hopefully he uses it as fuel, either in a train-on situation or at whatever level he plays next year, to put his hand up for selection in future.

The Club has passed on its selection in today’s AFL Rookie Draft, instead electing to keep a list spot open.

Richmond now has the flexibility to make an addition to its list through the SSP over the summer or to hold the spot through for the Mid Season Rookie Draft.

I did worry with the 4 x mids we drafted where he'd be given a chance to play/develop
