Favourite Carlton PLAYER ever!!!

Sorry if this has been done again. I just thought with the thread of Favourite Carlton Game ever this would be a good addition.

For mine it would have to be either SOS, Kouta, Rats, Christou and for those of you who remember the days of Brent Heaver when he kicked a goal. Ohh that feeling when us supporters would scream Heaver Heaver Heaver especially in our awsome 3rd quarters at princess park.

I just always loved the way Ratten played the game for some reason. A bit like Gaze Jnr in hoops. They'd just about define the term "perpetual motion" on the sports ground those 2. Neither of them super skilled, or anything else like that, but heck, do they give it their all - every single time they go out to play.


I remember one time when Dermie had that distance tracker on Rats one game, & at 3/4 time he had the 'standing still' stat at 0%. He then got injured and it went up to 1% b4 he went off the ground...but I think that summed his committment to playing pretty well.

Every year on the membership form I pick the least-likely player on our list and put them down as my favourite - I figure no-one ever lists them and they could use the vote of support.

I think it was 9...it was at Optus Oval, I was there. Remember being so happy with his performance at half time, and then he doesn't touch the footy in the second half!

As for my favourite player, it's so hard to chose. Definitely one of the Dog, Special Fried, Sticks, Braddles, SOS, Diesel and Kouta, Pearce an outsider.
