Before Mayes was drafted he reminded me of Kane Lucas in physical appearance, and I couldn't help but hold that against him. But I have come full circle now. He seems to have taken it upon himself this offseason to do what he can to welcome the new recruits, so that has been quite endearing. Being an excellent player also helps obviously.

I checked my 2014 membership and it has Hanley on it. So I am going to say Hanley. I picked him out as a favourite a few years ago when it looked like he might not make it. I like to find an unfashionable player and will him to rise.

Once he was secured in the team I moved my attention to Harwood who is coming along well. Next in line is Crisp. After that I am thinking of adopting Conway.

If any of these players establish themselves among our stars it will be entirely due to me. If not, I blame the rest of you.

I like all the players but Rich stands out for his kicking. Justin Clarke because he would have to be that 1% that is super smart and also has the athletic ability.

It's hard to say exactly one player, but I guess the one reason we all go to the footy is to watch the stars of the show perform. For me, it would be Brown, Hanley, Rich, Rockliff and Merrett. When these guys are up and firing, it's a treat to watch.
