What are your favourite idioms and in what situations do you like using them? My favourite at the moment is as dry as a popcorn fart, and there is another one that made me cack myself on saturday night but it could've just been because I was drinking - my mate was talking about his mechanic and how he was just doing band-aid solutions to many parts of his car and he said something along the lines of "you can't put a dress on a baby" ....??? or something. I've completely forgot what he said and it's been bugging me since Monday! Anyone know what I'm trying to remember?!
