does anyone remember that show "4 Quarters"? I used to love it...

I used to live in a house where I could not get SBS-TV and ABC-TV, leaving three boring commerciual networks with mind-rotting TV. Solution : don't watch TV.

Since moving three weeks ago, I've had the telly tuned to SBS (still poor reception on ABC) watching lots of soccer, and a stack of documentaries. Last night's was a Michaelangelo doco, and tonight's is one about the plague that ran through Britain in the 14th century.

Last night there was also a music special featuring Santana, and tonight there is another doco about Joseph Goebbels.

So I'd say the SBS documentaries collectively are my favourite non-sporting TV shows.
