When something bad happens to a white person because they're white, it's a bad thing that happens and shouldn't.

When something bad happens to a black person because they're black, it recalls thousands of years of discrimination. When people were denied basic rights because of their ethnicity. And this isn't just ancient history.

That was common and accepted during your parents lifetimes. So yeah, not quite the same thing. And anyone who attempts to compare the two is an idiot. If being one race/gender means you don't get something you would have gotten otherwise, then it's wrong.

Drawing distinctions just says that these problems can be OK depending on the target...ie, the use the very definition of racism/sexism to excuse racism/sexism.

Adams was a lead. Probably the main lead with Bale. 5 time Academy Award nominee, 6 time Golden Globe with two wins.

The UN report into trafficking found that females made up a disproportionate amount of victims. Every incidence of trafficking and sex slavery is a tragedy, but the evidence shows that females bear the brunt of this objectification.
