No it's more about context.So it's like denying things that actually happen?
When something bad happens to a white person because they're white, it's a bad thing that happens and shouldn't.
When something bad happens to a black person because they're black, it recalls thousands of years of discrimination. When people were denied basic rights because of their ethnicity. And this isn't just ancient history.
That was common and accepted during your parents lifetimes. So yeah, not quite the same thing. And anyone who attempts to compare the two is an idiot. Same as bitching about men being objectified being as bad as woman being objectified. It doesn't excuse it, but let's not pretend they're even in the same galaxy.
