Fev not playing??

Just heard that Fev will not be playing against us next Thursday night and will be out of the Brisbane line up for 4 -6 weeks with a badly bruised heel,

Has anyone else heard this?

Wouldn't suprise. He was woeful against the Tigers.

No excuse if we don't beat the Lions without Fev & Brown. If we can't beat them in Melburne without those two we are no chance of playing finals nor deserve to.

Just posted it on the Lions board and TBD said Fev isn't aware of it, meaning he has probably done some media up there about the game coming up.

didn't Fev sustain the same injury in the last practice game before the start of last season.
He didn't miss any games last year with that injury

If this is to occur then we must be wary. This is the sort of game a team like us can come in thinking it will be easy only to have the opposition come out firing to prove a point.

Still have to put in a good performance at AFL level to win a game of footy. Attitude has to be right because it hasn't been the last few weeks.

He probably should have missed at least a couple of games at the start of last season because he wasn't able to train & he struggled to get the same penetration with his kicks. If we had a better forward structure last season Fev probably would have missed some games due to the heel injury.

There is ZERO chance Fev won't play. Vossy knows Fev will want to put in a great performance against his former side. The Retreads are in crisis mode now after their top-up-recruitment experiment failed. They can't afford to drop talent like Fev with their paper-thin list depth. I'm really hoping BOTH Brown and Fev play in this game.
