Poll would be handy, but my answer is only on the cheap. If we give up pick 9/14 we're being really stupid.

Don't worry about the poll result.
If some sort of deal is worked out it is only a matter of time. He will kick his first bag, perhaps win a game for you, and you will love him for it, much like we do.

for the right deal
every team wants fev lets be honest his one of the best ff in the game

I don't care if he kicks 10 goals in his first game, if we traded a top 15 pick for him when we clearly wont be challenging for a flag while he's on our list, I'll go mad.

Edit: Can Carlton supporters refine from voting on a poll that's supposed to reflect the opinion of Sydney supporters?

The only way, would be if Carlton told/grovelled to Roos that they have to get rid of him, and he came absolutely dirt cheap....circa 2nd round#28.

IT would be a disgrace to send off BBBH...for discipline reasons or team harmony whatever?

and then .....

inherit/pay or big price .......for some ratbag outcast!!!!!

NO:thumbsd: unless the price is right!

If indeed you guys are in for a tough few years (I'm not convinved of this fact) Fev will give you plenty more reasons to go to the football than a kid taken at pick 14.

Hahaha, were are the UN observers.
Get the Fev and keep Goodes in the midfield where we need him most. As good as Goodes is at CHF he is more vauable in the centre.
Get the Fev.:thumbsu:

I don't need a reason to go, I live in WA and rarely see them play. If I lived in Sydney I still wouldn't need Fev as inspiration to watch the Swans, I'd rather see the future running around and hopefully blossoming into something special.

no i dont understand why we would want a 29 year old who'll be past it when we're finally ready to challenge again to pick him up after throwing hall out would be complete bs, i have a very bad feeling however he will end up at sydney.

This poll was not meant to be about Haggle price there are other threads for that, a no means keep him out at any price .

Oh and for obvious reasons I think it should be clear Swans fans votes only please.

That's a bit silly. If I can only vote no if it means keep him out at any cost, does that mean those who vote to bring him want us to do so at any cost?

Is there anyone here who would give up pick 6 for Fev?

We used to have a no ******** policy, but after some trades notable recent trades, nobody is sure if it is active.

To protect the integrity of our club, I propose a new recruitment policy: we should implement a maximum chin size threshold.

No fev :thumbsd:

I take your point but what I was trying to get to was the objection to coming to the club as to his behavior or if you would take him regardless.

I still think carlton should just fined him and drawn up a new contract that he is not to drink at all while he is playing for them.

But having said that I think if the right deal can presented then sure we should get him but any contract should have a no booze clause and that if he does break this clause he loses the contract and has to pay back any payments received. Fev booze free is an asset to any club.

If the jolly deal goes thru then fev is of to the swans. he has been offered 800,000 a year for the next 4 years by the swans. dont ask me for what in return thats just what i know.

Must be kiwi dollars, as there would be a revolt over a contract anything like that. If we are the only club interested in him as the story goes that sort of offer is mad. We don't do mad, he went to the kennel.

I am with you I have no idea why the Swans would be interested in getting him.

The best way to get crowds is to win games, the best way to do that is to rebuild as quickly as possible, fev is not the solution.

According to another thread, all this is now moot- Fev has agreed to a 4 year deal, involving Jolly to the Pies and pick 14 to Carlton. (SEN, so take it with a big grain of salt)

I don't feel great about this (if true), and am unsure how well he'd fit into our team. :(

I still dont want him here, but all the rumours are really concerning me and it is making me become more and more unopposed to the idea simply because if he is to become a Swan we have no choice but to love him and put up with him, he'll be one of our guys after all.

PS: thanks to all the Blues who thought it necessary to pad out the "bring him in" side of the voting..

If we can get him for pick 14 as is being reported then I say bring him in. A high profile, gun FF at a cheap price is a big win.
