Jeez the bronze players are amazing. Just sold a randy bronze for 4k.

I just cleared out an excess of contracts and some mugs bought three of them at the 5k BIN.

3-0 up to get promoted a season in UT, ea servers kick me again. Internet is not dropping out, just getting booted from the ea servers.

Lose the match, stay in the same division and my dnf modifier is turning to shit. ****ing almost over this crap already.

loving the pro club at the moment. anyone else giving that a shot?

Played a few single player online games last nigh, i always use totteham (who i support), contantly coming up against Madrid, Barca and Man United..

got a few wins though, but my best result was actually a draw. went 2-1 down in the 90th minute, took the ball deep into attack from kickoff, took the shot from outside the box, bounced off the keeper and Harry Kane followed up and tapped it in. last kick of the match :D

can only imagine the swearing going on by the other player.
Our pro clubs crew is really struggling to get past 7 this year :( seems parking the bus and scoring off corners is the go

Glad we aren't the only ones then. Previously we'd bounce between divs 4-6, peaking at 3 but so far we haven't gone past 7. It's junk goals from outside the box killing us. We often dominate possession having 60-70% most games and you can see the desperation of the opposition, but then we get done by something cheap the other way.

These teams are shit too. They all just sit on the halfway line with their AI on park the bus (probably why they can't get the ball out and we own possession) and just prey on through balls.

****ing hell, the game's got a really annoying bug.

Playing career mode, agree a Pre-Contract with Laporte. THEN he signs for Liverpool in that window (January).

Come summer, I get an email saying he has arrived at the club. Look in the squad, he's not there. Do a player search and what do you know, he's still at Liverpool.

Pretty pissed.

Happened last year (Fifa 16) to me with De Bruyne.

Some stupid people out there.

We had one earlier with some hacks that would shoot every single chance from every angle, lost 2-1 with a wonder strike and a deflected shot doing the damage

Sounds familiar, similar things are happening to us. Granted that our striker is wasting a lot of really good chances at the moment and we have even started making fun of him over it but it sucks to concede cheap goals that have come off their one or two only chances for the entire game.

We lost one game last night where our guy hit the cross bar from a free kick, the ball landed inside the goals but was cleared and no goal, only for it to go straight up the other end for them to take a hopeful shot from outside the box. One of their players overshot our defense in the box and was in an offside position which blocked the keeper from being able to get to the ball and it was allowed. We were fuming.

The end season trophy celebration animations are a little wonky. Won the A-League title and the player accepting/holding the trophy (trophy was invisible by the way) looked like he was either standing tip toed OR like a ballet dancer. Then when they showed the player holding the trophy from another angle, he looked more like the T-1000 (the animation where the t-1000 transforms from front to back). The player was holding the trophy to his side while his back was turned at the camera....yet his face was on backwards. If I was playing on pc I'd be able to screenshot it easier.

Had an online seasons match earlier, the other player was more aggressive and took the ball to my goal at will... but kept missing the goal when kicking. The very first chance I got to rebound the ball, I managed to get it to my end, stuff up the shot at goal. But nailed the corner kick and took the lead 1-0. He was getting more of the ball and I gradually conceced one just on half time. Things went back and forward in the second half, he was getting more of the ball and it was only a matter of time before he finally scored again. He scored two more times to win 4 - 1.

I like some of the ball physics (not bouncing in a straight line after landing on the ground), some of the goal shots are good too. I particularly like the animations where you kick it and it barely goes into the goal itself. The AFL equivalent of bombing it from the 50m line and it dies a bounce before just going over the line for a goal). I've had a few goals scored where it's either hit the goalie OR bounced off the bar, floats on the inside of the goal........ but bounced on the line/just outside. Looks cool but also looks like it cheated in a way.

One thing I am yet to see that was in Fifa 15 are the goal reviews seeing if it did go over the line after crossing on/off it.

Almost Fifa'd out

Completed a season (which included a warm up tournament)
Played many FUT matches
Played many online seasons/friendlies online too

50-60 matches in a week phewwwwwwww haha

That's nothing. At the height of my FIFA addicition I would almost do 50 online matches a night

Another player with another broken bone. Out for three months. Awesome!

Having said that, I now have the depth to play a 4-4-2 and it's not so bad albeit annoying.

Couldn't sell any player I wanted in Jan which was annoying. Computer kept bidding for players I want to keep. Will have to wait until the off season to improve squad further.

finally got to the point in FUT where I almost have a backup player in each slot and can rotate players properly through matches whilst keeping 80+ rating and 100 chemistry. The hardest part is still playing though - im only up to league 8 - albiet im playing on professional. I reckon playing humans would be easier than the AI, as I could predict the humans much more.

Anyone got any tips on buying and selling on the transfer market for a profit? Is it a bit of guesswork, or has anyone had any luck making a good sum of money?

Also, are you guys playing FUT opening packs, or just buying players off the market?

started playing manager mode as united 4 days left in the window de gea wants out this window and board make me sell him. offer him around trying to get a decent keeper offer him to bayern for neur they end up wanting de gea and 60m on top. didn't have the coin so sent him back to athletico madrid and ended up buying lloris

reach January again 4 days left in the window luke shaw wants out and the board sells him to real madrid behind my back. seriously 2 players in the space of a few months **** off fifa

Boards selling players without managers consent? Never heard of it happening ;)

How many coins do you have to trade with? The bronze pack method has been working really well for me so far this year with the bronze upgrade SBC in place at the moment.

By the way, anybody opening packs in FUT, everything is pretty much a goldmine. The new SBC has made most non rares worth more than quicksell and most throwaway consumables, especially healing are worth a relative mint. Even the non rares for knee and leg injuries are going for over 1k because of the injury "glitch" at the moment. I'm up to 600k mostly by trading consumables and some luck with One To Watch players (the Russian fella this week went from 30k to 110k as soon as TOTW was announced.

at the moment i don't have a whole heap - I've been upgrading my squad pretty much on a season by season basis, might start retaining some coins now and starting to trade. Do you just do the squad building challenges and sell off those bronze cards? Who buys bronze cards anyway? I thought everyone went hard out for the gold cards and nothing else.

is there any reason the rares are worth more than the non rares - or is it just a dick swinging contest to have rares in your team? For instance, Guerrerio is a 76 rated non-rare, and Brosinski is a 75 rated rare. What is it that makes him more appealing? Is he actually a better player by 1 point, or is there just less of him on the market so people froth it? Do you buy packs, or just get them from SBC's?

Another annoying thing is it seems that many of the packs you can open on the SBC's are non tradeable .... really gives me the shits. I've got so many players that I a) wont use and b) can't trade.

I'm a relative noob to FUT as you can probably gather ... i've always played seasons. I've always had kids in my class playing FUT, caught them on the web app heaps and given them heaps for it - so knowing more will probably give me more scope to chat with them about it, but then be like, look mate, i love what you're doing, just not now.

Who buys bronze cards anyway?
Hardcore people who like making SBC's fast or the card isn't up on the market.

No that is not true. Some times the rares are cheaper than non rares. I picked up a LW Kishna for 750 and the LM's are 1k plus with a position mod added to them.

Depends on what the stats are and how 'sweaty' he is. An N'zonzi goes for 1k and he is 100x better than a Busquets who is like 30k.
Do you buy packs, or just get them from SBC's?
Buy bronze packs to trade in the SBC's to get more packs.

Simple solution is well put them back through the SBC. Smart people do that and don't waste crazy money on packs and cards.

I struggled early on with this FIFA with retaining possession and defending, but definitely getting the hang of it and finding it more satisfying than last year. Prefer the penalties and corners but struggling with the free kicks, haven't scored one... (although rightly so because i probably scored about 75%+ of my free kicks from pretty much any distance in FIFA 16).

Nailed a free kick with Lemar the other night. It was beautiful.

Penalties I need to turn the trainer on so I know where I am aiming. They're tough.

Bought Adrian Ramos for 700 coins, and with my two 80 rated pacey wingers I'm just getting sweaty on the crosses into the box. I should be playing with proper tactics but it's just too much fun

Have gone from the club manager hero to the villain in only my first game of the second season. Aiming for back to back A-League championship wins, had to do some light work in the off season. Got rid of some stars for $$$$$$ replaced them with average players (in the hope of building them up and selling them at a profit at the end of next season or maybe in the future). In the process of doing that I blew the budget out massively lol and went from 85 to 44 "manager popularity". Position is now under review, at Melbourne Victory. Meanwhile I have accepted a job as team Canada manager, going to help them qualify for the world cup. Currently on an 8 win winning streak in A-League and undefeated in the international friendlies played thus far.

When I was adjusting the roster (45 minutes just adjusting contracts, transfers etc) I sold my best GK... when I was about to start the season I forgot to find a new one... had to scramble and found a few decent-ish (60's ratings) that will do while I hopefully build one up from the youth squad - onward. One player will probably retire at the end of the season while two others have cracked the sads over playing time, I can afford to lose them now though as I over loaded my squad and have replacements galore in case of injury :D.
