Ehh, will see how i got with it when I get the tokens. I did the 85 x5 and got 88, 86 and then 3 85s. One of those was wijneldum though so was happy to get him as FO. I saw on YouTube someone get 5 85s from the pack.... now that must hurt!

It seems the Switch version has been patched, meaning you can now earn a straight red for 'last man' sliding tackles & long shots don't just dive into the top corner from anywhere.

Bit of a noob question, but I grabbed this on the Xbox store for $49, it had the X/S badge on it saying next gen, but not sure if I’ve purchased the last gen version optimised for my series x, or I need to purchase the one that only says Xbox series x on the game case and is $109 at EB games for the proper next gen version.

I don't really like sport games but I used a JB HI FI voucher to get this just in case I want to mix things up and play FIFA or if I ever have mates over, FIFA is a game everyone can play.

Safe to say after playing online that I'm hopeless. Think I'll just stick to single-player.

Should see the new broadcast angle which is pulled further away from the action

Yep, got that camera angle, and just zoomed into Cavani’s head on the instant replay and his hair is flowing about

That's good.

EA really should have made it more obvious which version you were running, it's causing a lot of people confusion on both consoles. A simple splash screen when you boot up the game would have been a most helpful visual aid.

The PS5 version defaults to the PS4 version which is incredibly dumb

Yeah silly with the PS5 version downloading the PS4 version automatically. With the Xbox, can see some real confusion with what is Xbox one & Xbox series x, I know the next gen games have X/S to clarify, but the FIFA 21 version I bought was for Xbox one & Xbox series x/s, but then there is another one that is just Xbox series x/s only, that’s where my confusion came from.

I know it’s pretty small but felt proud of the fact I got myself up into Div 5 on Rivals, I was in Div 7 a couple of weeks ago but I added Griezmann, Mendy, Freeze Gaya and Freeze Navas and i haven’t lost in about 5 or 6 games now. I’m really starting to get the hang of manual defending and how most meta players play, I used to be shit scared of Mbappe or Salah but now I’m pretty confident.

My team currently is:

Ter Stegen
Carvajal - Lenglet- Freeze Navas - Mendy
Modric - Casemiro
Griezmann
Beckham - Freeze Gaya - POTM Oyarzabal

Bench: Rulli, Storyline Aidoo, IF Plano, IF Odegaard, IF David Silva, Fekir, IF Suarez

I play a more patient passing game, Modric and Griezmann combine beautifully and then Gaya is a really well rounded striker, i prefer him to Suarez as he gets in behind the defenders a lot easier whereas Suarez I had to rely on his dribbling and insane finishing.

Currently saving up for Varane to replace Lenglet and then after that thinking someone like Dembele or RTTF Portu for the right wing, I’ll probably just keep picking up SBCs I like coz I’ve had a lot of fun with the freeze cards and Oyarzabal.
