No TOTY in almost 200 packs. Sad.

The League Upgrade packs were hot garbage, out of 70 Bundesliga ones I probably got 5-6 fodder walkouts.

The normal packs weren't too bad, got enough fodder to finish off Cannavaro, as well as complete 3/4 parts of an Icon SBC. Noteable pulls were Rashford, MOTM Greenwood, MOTM Eriksen, that blue Jesus Navas and then in my very last pack which was an untradable 2 player pack, EA decided to say "Hey forget about TOTY here is a truly unique combo of both Varane and Mendy".

Overall it was easy to tell that the pack weight had been nerfed to shit this week, probably wasn't worth saving up all those packs for TOTY. Had I opened them during a normal promo week I probably would have had 30-40% more walkouts even if they were just fodder. I did make over 500k coins from these packs but I'd say that's around par for a months worth of saved packs. I couldn't imagine all the people who buy loads of Fifa points and then use them now when the pack weight is at its lowest.


Hopefully we get a new repeatable SBC or even Player Picks tomorrow so I can get rid of all these 600+ untradable bundesliga players lmao

Managed to finish off the Base/Mid Icon SBC and got Mid Scholes

So far I'm 0/4 with Icon SBCs this Fifa, gotten Base Guardiola, Base Inzaghi, Mid Guardiola (he's okay), Mid Scholes.
I'm just gonna stop doing them for good lol

Edit: Tbf, after looking at his stats and putting a shadow on him, he looks like a decent temporary Box2Box CM until I decide to get IF Renato or Mid Seedorf.

Love that EA tell us they've patched blocked shots and fixed referee logic/intelligence but instead they **** passing up and gave us a terrible first touch whilst the AI shot blocking is still OP and the referee logic/intelligence is still absoloute shithouse.

Welcome TOTY Alphonso Davies to the club.

Was really hoping that he would have dropped to 1.5-1.6 but EA decided to not have Lightning Rounds during TOTY for 3 days straight, meaning his price kept rising as there weren't many on the market. Managed to snipe one this morning for 1.95mil, and have just seen now he is already up to 2.2mil.

Early last week I used 4 million coins to invest in 3 RTTF Varane's when he dipped to 1.3mil, now he's at 1.65mil and climbing almost 50k per day since Saturday. Hoping he can reach 2mil by the next promo where I will cash out and have over 6mil to spend on 3 Icons, a Striker, Box2Box CM and a CDM.

Out of these 23 Two Player packs I got a TOTY, 5 walkouts (Allsion, Courtois, Sterling Hummels, Pique)and 8 boards. The pack weight has clearly changed, I should have opened all my saved packs today instead, oh well, still got a TOTY. Hopefully I remember for next year.

That Rooney card looks insane.

Put a hunter or Hawk and you have the best Striker outside of TOTY and Top Tier Icons.
Put an Engine and you have a CAM or Striker with 5 stats above 90.
Could even put a shadow on him to make him a Box2Box Mid with Gullit-like stats.


Just gotta find a way to fit him into my team.

Rooney is cracked. If the game was realistic then his shots would be putting holes in the nets.

Paired him with Headliners Lozano as Striker and so far has 6 goals, 3 assists in 4 games, 3 of which the opponent rage quit before half time.
Might try an Engine on him cause he can feel a little stiff at times but Hunter is doing fine for now.

What's also great about him is his 71 defending, meaning he's great in putting forward half pressure, making intercepts and winning the ball back off opponents, compared to say a Neymar or CR7.

It's nuts that Rooney is cheaper than Sabitzer, Ox and Milner. Want to do him and can probably afford him with the fodder i already have but i think I think I'll hold off for a cpl weeks to see if we get any other end of an era cards.

Mid Wright is surprisingly decent! Playing him with a Hunter and he got 2 goals and 1 assist on debut. Rooney 2 goals.
Will see how this team goes for a while yet.

I'm on Switch which uses the old engine & I'm not sure how different to you blokes but he saves 2 goals a game auto diving to block shots.

No regrets getting him in at all.

Packed Motm Cuadrado and Kante from the Marquee Matchups packs! Sold both for a nice 500k.

Better than any of my pulls during TOTY lol (except Neuer). Next year I'm saving my TOTY packs for Future Stars instead, cause I've had probably 6 walkouts in 15 rewards packs I've opened since yesterday. The pack weight is so much more rewarding.
