I’m sure we all know the lads training with club in the hope of grasping that final spot on the list.
So, which way will the club go?

Best Fit?

Best looking?

Who knows.

None of them inspire too much confidence in me. I think the club will elect not to sign anyone and keep the list spot open for the mid-season draft. If they do end up signing someone, my money would be on Webb.

It’s hard to judge cause it was such a farce though. Not many that looked good.

None of these guys are going to add much to what we have.

Cheers, that should be a case then to fold until the mid-season draft.

Would prefer to go down the path of our rookie selections, both having some flair & talent (Honey & Phillips), or a C. Hirst, B. Sokol or even S.Fisher.

I think we have to nominate that we are looking at them so I think the 4 named are the only ones we can take (happy to be proven wrong).

Moore is an absolute no for me, Cunico I know nothing about so its down to Sturgiss and Webb.

On one hand, Webb has AFL experience, and definitely if able to get a good run xould be a useful pickup.

On the other hand, Stugiss is an extension of the draft and is a free hit at a kid like Cottrell.

Sturgess has looked reasonable, but given we’re stocked for 3rd talls I’d say it’d be best to sign him to the NB’s and look towards the mid-season draft for other prospects. Look to rookie him at the end of the year, if necessary.

Might be someone worth chasing during the year, would hate to miss out because we took someone at this stage just because we could, not because we should.

I don't mind this way of thinking. Betts could be a serious advantage for us to having the little champ
