According to today's Geelong Addy:

We play our final practice match at Skilled Stadium vs Richmond next Friday (March 7th) game starts at 4.30pm.

We are not going to gain much playing a dud team like Richmond!

Easy games against Melbourne and Richmond are not much use in refining game plans or even giving young players good opponents to play on! Hopefully Brisbane can put up a bit of a contest this week and they have their good players in like Brown.

Maybe you shouldve beat the Saints then to avoid us. ;)

I wouldnt have minded tbh. :o

Sounds good. Will we have to pre purchase tickets like last time?

Yeah, i was thinking that. However you never know with the AFL.

Yeah it's a tough one - you want a hard run for your key team last up but it'd also be nice to try some more stuff out.

Maybe we should give them a 5 goal head start.

It was good that Brissie played a good team.

Probably not as members usually get in with there ticket to these games, although non members will probably have to pay entry!
Goddammit, now I'm going to have to pay to get in! Not like my membership will get here by Friday if I renew it now. :( Serves me right for delaying it.

How much will it cost?

OK, I need some help!! Glad I found this thread and now I know! But can someone tell me where on the AFL or Official AFL/GFC site does it tell you that we are playing the tigers. I searched both sites and found nothing about this last practice match.
Oh and by the way, I think it's a good thing to play sides that maybe a little easier to beat right before the real stuff starts, it gives the opportunity to run some set plays and tighten things up..:thumbsu:

No I had faith in you guy's,
I just could not believe that it would be so hard to find this information on the AFL site. I thought it would be just a click away from the Home page?? When I clicked on NAB cup / challenge fixture it only gave me Nab cup stuff??

Anyway I know now and will be there with my boy for his first live Cats game, Can't wait.

Handy tip : If looking for information on anything AFL related,DON'T use the AFL website.

When you renew you should have the option to pick it up at the ground.

That's what I plan on doing.:thumbsu:
