Guys I have been saying this all year ... if we go man on man and apply mid field pressure and shut the game down we can do anything. Today proved it. If we play that style game each week we will win 11 games I guarantee it.

The problem has not been identifying the talent within the list.

The issue has been unleashing that talent to the maximum and consistently.

Against Collingwood we got the right mix, the mission now is to ensure that it is the benchmark for weeks to come.

That is difference between finals sides and non finals sides.

The signs are positive, and it is great that we ran out four quarters and the players got to experience that BUZZ in front of 78,000 at the G against the pies.

Must follow up now, and then a win next week means 2 -3, and the character building really kicks in with games against Adelaide at home and then West Coast Away (off the top of my head).

It's amazing how everything just sore of 'clicked' today. Being able to hang onto the ball keep possession until something opened up and that tackling pressure! Our defense always had some numbers back to help out, and our midfield gave good ball to Fevola, who was able to lead into wide open spaces because Fisher seemed to roam around at will and took some great grabs.

i Think we shouldn't be so early in posting such things though, lets take it one week at a time.

There is no way that we will be playing finals football this year unless a lot of things happen to go our way...

That includes several teams that have been pencilled in to actually play finals football having a really bad patch towards the end of the season and us winning enough games to put us into 9th at least.

Yeh you guys played well today and deservingly won. But ya gotta play good week in and week out. Today may of been of been a good one but theres always next week.. Dees winless like you guys were before today, anything can happen.
