You want to make the finals without relying on other teams losing anyway. Finishing 9th would be great as it shows we are very close to playing finals footy and will be good motivation for next season.

It's kind of ironic actually, 3 weeks ago we thought we'd destroyed Essendon's finals chances and now they snuff out ours.

Yeah makes you think had we won at least one more game (probably the freo won) we would still have a chance as we did have a pretty easy run home excluding the Bulldogs and the Crows

I know we can;t make the finals now but some acutally edited the wikipedia for West Coast and added this:

It was said on triple m on sunday the day after West Coast beat North Melbourne that West Coast can make the top 8 if they win there next 2 games by over 160 points and teams 9,10,11 lose there games.
