All Q blocks are at the very top tier of the stands . They completely encircle the ground. I sat in Q23 for the 2006 grand final which was on the half forward flank. Whilst you are up with the Gods, it was just incredible to be there, however I think $1400 is quite a bit over the top.has anyone every sat in the MCG Q section Rows A - T? It costs 1400 for a ticket through Etihad

Just found a relative with two spare notes! Woohoo!
I missed out on the ballot in 2006 but managed to get tickets from a poster on EFH. There were a few people on there offering their tickets for cost, so you might get lucky on BF or EFH but there are no guarantees so I understand your dilemma. Not a member & running out of options. I'm willing to pay the money considering my travel cost will only be 300 return on the train from Adelaide
Wish it was more of a possibility for non-members to get tix to the GF... Are all GF packages sold out or any still available?I missed out on the ballot in 2006 but managed to get tickets from a poster on EFH. Yes.Can anyone tell me- if you have 4 barcodes will splitting them into 2 transactions increase your chances of getting at least 2 tickets?
Edit. I'm referring to grand Final tickets

Yeah we're hot favs and i like our chances in the GF.We'd have to be the hottest of hot favourites to win the prelim
So my brother has a Victorian Gold membership that allows him to go into the ballot tomorrow for a GF ticket. I ended up going to 3 of the 4 games in Victoria but wasn't anticipating getting to that many so I didn't buy a membership.
He's going to be in Perth on GF day so has offered the opportunity for me to go if successful in the ballot.
The four page doc sent to my brother specifies the following:
"Please note that only the credit card holder may collect the tickets and must present photo ID, the credit card used to purchase the tickets and the Ticketek Account Number."
In other's experience if I buy the GF ticket with my credit card will it be possible for me to pick up the ticket, even if I am using my brother's barcode?
Those stipulations didn't say anything about the barcode?
That's how I read it.
Which should mean that if my credit card paid for it, I should be able to pick the ticket up.

what are the standing room tickets like? Still ok viewing?Just found out that my WCE AFL Silver membership only entitles me to enter the priority 3 ballot
Although, my missus (swans fan) and I were in the Swans priority 3 ballot last year and still ended up with standing room tickets.

Ethically grey area I reckon. While it increases you chances, it decreases the chances of people who paid a membership to get the opportunity to see their team in a grand final. Good luck to you though, I'm hoping our 2 little barcodes come up trumps. (assuming we win the prelim)Have managed to wrangle up 33 Barcodes between 12 of us. If we manage to secure all tix we will be looking to offload the rest to other eagle supporters at cost price. We will be lodging in groups of 4's & 6's to manage the spread. Fingers crossed it pays off!

crikey thats a fair effort. My dad is 68 and that sounds like a solid 6 hours on your feet. Although i guess the adrenaline of those final few moments helped keep you going all afternoon.I was in standing room at the 06 GF, view was pretty good but we got there before they even opened the doors so we were right at the front of our bay.
