This game can be frustrating. Last week my opponent has Fyfe as captain, he gets his biggest score of the season causing me to lose narrowly and I finish 6th instead of 3rd. This week my opponent in the elimination final has Sloane who gets by far his biggest score of the season and makes it most unlikely I can win, although I'd be pretty much home against 2nd had I won last week and finished 3rd.

I here ya! The last time I played my current opponent Pav got a 110 and I fell over the line by 30 points, this week he spuds up and I'm probably going to finish 30 points short. Swings and roundabouts...

Edit actually no, they've used up their cap on Rockliff which is why they were so close. Needs a nic Nat 205 for me to lose. Phew.

lolwhat? Both of them are in the top handful of their respective sports. Their stats/fantasy reflects that.

Kevin Love is not in the same class as LaMarcus Aldridge, Anthony Davis or even Al Horford, these guys actually play defense. Dirk Nowitzki even at his age is more valuable for his team and wins more games than the extremely overrated Love, all these other players actually command double teams as well. Without a proper rim protector playing alongside him, any team that Love plays for is exposed defensively inside, the other elite PFs in the NBA aren't defensive liabilities in this context and actually win games for their clubs.

Rockliff is merely a new Dane Swan, has a massive tank and can pick up truckloads of possessions without affecting the game half as much as some of his team-mates from much fewer possessions (Pendlebury for example or Hanley). He's a good tackler however is hardly a dominant extractor ala Jobe Watson or JPK and conversely lacks the capacity to break games open and destroy teams like a Nat Fyfe.

Fantasy sports has destroyed how people perceive the importance and worth of players, ie: Joel Bowden would average 20+ supercoach points more per game than Michael Voss when they both played.
