In short ... NO. Do they have a chance? Would need all stars to align and all players to remain focused and injury free to snatch a lower 8 spot. On the strength of the past couple of years, it is realistically beyond us. I will be watching every game expecting to win however.

Don't know who will win the bronlow. I'd say Camporeale for the BROWNLOW, Fevola Coleman and Scotland Norm Smith. Wait a minute i think im dreaming.

Didn't know the rumour was true. Didnt SOS say he quit the Carlton board for family reasons or for his commentry or something like that.
Good luck for the 4 SOS's.

Blueboyyoung, please do not spam the board. I've gone out of my way to merge the threads you had created in what seemed like only a minute or so. Please don't think of every question and turn them into threads - do a bit of combination with your questions, and restrict them to fewer threads. Now hopefully your questions will be easily answered.

Cheers,

Thrawn.

will carlton make the finals next year

Not in 2004, but I'd say you wont be stuck on the (very) bottom with the other dregs. Most of the deadwood has been weeded out and the 'rejects' will repay Denis for giving them a second chance. Anywhere between tenth and thirteenth place for me. I can only see Carlton going up from here.

Camporeale for mine also, Whitnall might even be a chance if he gets a full year in and has a red hot go at everything.

who wil be casrlton vice captains

Whitnall and Campo are strong chances. Cant see anyone else filling the spots really. All the stories about giving the Vice Captaincy to kids like Waite or Thornton are just rubbish. Give them a few years yet.

do u think colins is doing a good job at carlton and do u think will ever move to telstra dome

Because I'm outside the loop I can't really say whether he's doing a good job or not. I can't see Carlton ever moving to Telstra Dome, Optus Oval/Princes Park has far too much history. It'd be a shame if you ever left, really.

I think it's fine for him to go to another club. Ratts got that position at the Dees and it doesnt reek of any disrespect towards the Blues. Coaching positions (as well as playing positions, or any administrative positions aswell) aren't always open at your club of choice, so Plan B would be to look somewhere else and get the experience. It holds people in good stead to be in line for a position at their old club. SOS will return to Carlton someday, whether it be as a senior coach or an assistant.
