Heard Malthouse say a few weeks back he expected Swan, Penalbyry etc to make mistakes and some turnovers as thats part of playing hard inside, whereas he was very critical of backs and forwards with time and space making them.
I think that's a great point. Jackson and Edwards generally have time when they make their errors, which is why it's so bad when they do.
Funnily enough, the less time Edwards has the better he seems to do. Clearly he over thinks it when in space.
They have both tightened up in this aspect this year, but Jackson is still prone to too many mistakes. Edwards I am more than happy to stay in the team for the foreseeable future. Jackson still needs to be upgraded.
