Ferris and friends in the Art Institute of Chicago brought tears to my eyes. I always stopped there on my Christmas holidays home. I spent part of my 50th birthday there in 2002 and ate in their outdoor restaurant after we visited the Sears Tower.Then we went to Wrigley Field and sat in the bleachers to see the Cubs play. They won. Where will you be for your 50th? Do something you won't forget so you can smile about it years later. Here endeth the Lesson.

The Breakfast Club is on next but I won't be watching. Reminds me of the bad old days of having to supervise Saturday detention. Of course, one time was OK. Two of my Year 12 students had it so I spent the three hours going over their work with them. After detention we went across the street to Hungry Jacks and I shouted them lunch. They had to swear to keep quiet about that. After all, I did have my reputation of being a Nazi that I had to maintain.
