so far so good. i moved to canberra for work and its got pretty much everything that a city has but not as busy. im in a very quiet area so im happy. no neighbours on one side and the other side is up for auction so at the moment i have no neighbours. though knowing my luck ill probably end up with neo nazis next door.

lots of apartments here which i looked at, but wasnt game enough to chance who you could have living next door to you. Do you actually interact with your neighbours?

That is the greatest- enjoy it while it lasts.

A couple years back it worked out that the two apartments across from me (there's only 3 on the entire floor), were empty for several months. It was ****ing bliss, just having the whole floor to myself. Felt like I was in a legit penthouse lol.

Million Dollar Island can not have a second season. It just cant! Brett was one of the most dislikeable people ever on a game/reality show. LOL He lost his money. Risked $110,000 and lost. Got $10,000.
One $70,000 winner (the cry baby who was starving) and another $110,000 winner. Big bucks? Meh. I think not.

Who gets the rest- $810,000? Divided up among anyone who watched the waste of time?

They had the pick of 100 boxes based on the money they had accumulated. Each box had $10000 in it except some( missed how many) had a " bomb" in them. They could choose boxes one at a time and stop at any time and keep the money. If they got a bomb they lost all but the $10000 they started the show with. Brett got a tad greedy. Was up to $100000 and kept going. BANG! LOL

Too many "poor me" stories - cancer kid, brought up by one parent, refugee, etc. The usual. Also, so many of the contestants were unlikeable. Overdramatic at times. Challenges were straight out of Survivor. Couldn't stand the host. He also does another show.

I used to sometimes grab a pie at Subi because it was about the only thing I was reasonably confident they couldn't **** up.

I remember these Collingwood supporters from east at the crowded Hunrgry Jack's beforehand saying "What's going on, don't they serve any food inside the stadium?"

The best hot dogs were at Etihad- it was a special stall that only sold them up on L3, they were like kransky dogs for $10. So ****ing good.

I hope they're still there when I go in a few weeks, but I doubt it. This was years ago.

Hot Dogs are good, they will be sure to have ones that are decent at the new joint too.

I always eat a kebab or something before going but sometimes you do feel like a snack late in the game.
