Holiday plus a conference is in Munich. Basically spending some time with my dad we've planned this for 5 years, doubt we'll get another one.

We only spent one night in Munich (and did the Dachau tour the next day)- on my Contiki. Was not enough, seemed like a great city.

yeah we are flying in and out of madrid but travelling around using trains etc, going to see a few historical sites (one of the concentration camps will be an emotional day)

dachau is one of the smallest camps (first established tho) and 3 hours there wasnt nearly enough. Need at almost a day.

Still feels very weird not seeing the GF. The only one I've missed since 1993 was the 2003, as I was in London.
