I was driving by the Whitten Oval, when Rex Hunt interrupted the footy to announce it.

Ill never forget his voice, was so shaky.

They go on about how was he so accurate but you only have to see the actual footage of the cafe, it was tiny and packed would have been like shooting fish in a barrel.

Plus he had a semi-auto + there were a hellava lot of missed shots as well.

And i took a very random photo of that Seascape cottage- just thought it was cute.

I remember listening to the football commentary at that time and then hearing Rex Hunt tell us about shooting.

My uncle a couple of years before it bought some semi-auto from over in QLD, as a sports shooter it wasn't any good to him so he quickly sold it. I remember him saying something it's ridiculous that you can even get your hands on such a weapon that just sprays bullets, it's intended purpose is really to kill people and quickly.
