me and some of my friends had a similar system for food. we put in about 50 or so different restaurants and take away and used that to pick where we would eat. everyone only had one veto, and if everyone vetoed you had to eat at wherever came out.

we even had a booby prize, which was whatever you could get out of the vending machines at the nearest train station

the vending machine one was the only bad one in there. there was a fair mix of places from the local pub to proper restaurants, all different styles. we did it because no-one could ever agree on where to eat. or theres always that one person who wants something nobody else does.

we actually pulled out the snooty fox in olinda one time (it was one of the more proper restaurants in there) so we drove all the way up and found out it had burnt down.

my grandparents were english and scottish so it wasnt exactly culinary delights as a child

About the only thing the English are good for is cooked breakfasts and tea.

all i remember getting for breakfast was burnt toast with marmite and stories about the war

Actually come to think of it English breakfast aint that great- what is it eggs sausage tomato and mushrooms.

Americans are yummier with their waffles, pancakes, bagels etc

Their tea kicks ass tho. Americans wouldnt know what a cup of tea was if it slapped them in the face

i tried tea a couple of times and i just couldnt. didnt like the taste. same with coffee, cant stand it either.

Today i had a cup of tea with my homemade gingernut biscuits. Omg. Never knew you could match biscuits with a drink like matching wine with food lol. Just made the biscuits taste sooooo good.

But yeah water is the best. One or two cups of tea or coffee- otherwise water.

golden pash is pretty good but nothing beats lime coola on a 40 degree day
