I've only seen her in the previews. Good reason not to watch the show. I did catch some of Heartbreak Island last night. What was I thinking?

I just watched bits and pieces of it- was pretty average. Same old shit/sob stories.

kozi they use the term "Shitbird" a lot in The Wire, I think that's a tick.

ok still not quite sure about the one of the greatest shows ever thing but it's pretty good, the second season is waay better than the first and a lot easier to get into.

Every one of those standard top 10's that has BB, Sopranos etc seems to have it right up there. Expectations sky high based off that and inevitability ready to be let down

Given how long it takes to get going I'm amazed it wasn't cancelled pretty quickly, I would have almost certainly stopped watching quickly if it didn't have such a reputation. Think it still got pretty average ratings over its original run anyway.

tbh I probably don't get the most out of it because too often I don't watch stuff with my complete 100% attention.
