I've only ever been trick or treating once. My brother and I were staying with my cousin and we went around his neighbourhood. I think I was dressed as a witch

You do realise that I am 73 years old and can barely remember what I wore yesterday!
There is footage of me dressed up for Halloween on YouTube. It's from over 20 years ago when I went on a special Halloween roller coaster trip with my nephew and niece and friends to a park in Pennsylvania. We stopped at a Walmart in Ohio and I bought a cow costume complete with udders. I got many inappropriate requests that evening.
Halloween was nothing back during my last one here in 1999 before moving back to the states. In 24 years I had never had any kids stop by. However, I had a strange feeling that last year and I bought a big bag of American chocolate bars which Safeway had for sale.
At about 8pm I heard a knock at my door and when I opened it up, there was a group of four teenage boys at the door who greeted me with "Trick or treat," carrying just plastic bags and not wearing costumes. I froze for a second because I thought they might have been some of my students who found out where I lived.(Not likely since the school was in Bundoora and I lived in Box Hill.) After I realised that they were just a bunch of anonymous kids, I told them how lucky they were that they came to an American's home and I gave them the whole bag of American chocolates. I still remember the look of shock on their faces. They had hit the jackpot! Good times.
