Hail stones have gone crazy lately. Did you see the ones in Queensland the other day?

My first year at university in San Antonio Texas in 1971, we had hail stones the size of baseballs. They completely wrecked the campus greenhouse, the skylight over the altar in the chapel and every glass street lamp on campus. The parked cars on campus were smashed. There were many injuries, too. We took a lot of pics and put some of the hailstones in the freezer.

Yes it is a crap day today. Winter is back. It wasn't fun grocery shopping this morning!

I've had the heat on since I got up. And to think just the other day I almost switched to cooling...

I might make a Reuben sandwich for dinner. I have the ingredients - dark rye bread, pastrami(closest thing here to American corned beef), sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing(can't get Russian dressing here). I'll have to see how my stomach feels because of the sauerkraut. I don't want to explode...

The Reuben sandwich was delicious. I just hope I don't pay for it tomorrow. I might make another one on Monday after I get back from my neurologist appt at St Vincent's in the city. We should be back by 1:30. I haven't been in the city for two months.

Went looking at dishwashers this morning. Was leaning towards Bosch based on our research. The sales guy was  really pushing Miele. A couple of points I agreed with him.

Reviews dont seem to be as favourable for Miele.

Not in a rush as we're waiting to see what the Black Friday deals are.

Looks like the AFL is introducing a "Wildcard" Round during the pre finals bye . Seriously just leave the game alone. If you don't make the 8, then you don't deserve to be there. The Swans finished 10th and we definitely didn't deserve to be in the finals. It's all about .

The wildcard round would mean the team that finishes seventh on the ladder in the home-and-away season would play the team that finished 10th, and the team that finished eighth would play the ninth-placed team.

The launch had to be suspended last night because of storms and lightning. It wasn't very smart to construct a stage without a cover during storm season!

As per my previous post, it was filmed yesterday. Normally the launch is pre recorded. Lucky it wasn't live because of the bad storms.

I'm recording the episode and will watch it later tonight.
