Today is Zsa Zsa's 10th birthday. As I've said, she was born on my mum's 90th birthday US time.

I got Zsa Zsa from a foster home in Williamstown through a shelter. I was told that she was going to be a challenge since her social skills were poor. She doesn't like being picked up and has never jumped on my lap. For the first month she stayed hiding in the bathroom. She eventually got used to me and walks around, though prefers just to sleep on my bed or sleep in the wardrobe in my closet.

She has never been a problem except catching her to put into her carrier. After I returned home after a month in hospital four years ago, she wouldn't leave my side for about a week. She has never scratched nor bitten me and loves to be brushed, even on her belly. She got me through Covid since she was the only one I saw weeks on end.

I bought her some treats for her birthday, but I doubt she'll like them. Hopefully the catnip ones will be a welcome surprise.

The back neighbour at the holiday house has a small dog...(jack russell I think). Whenever he mows the lawn or uses the whipper snipper, the dog goes nuts and barks like crazy.

Tomorrow is the 4th anniversary of my dad's passing. We wanted to go to the cemetery this morning, so I checked the BOM radar and there was no rain for at least an hour. So we went to the cemetery and of course it started raining on the way! Stupid BOM!

Chicago1 who are you going for in the World Series? My brother has been watching it this weekend. He wants Toronto to win just to piss off Trump!

I watched the last innings of today's game. I want Toronto to win for the same reason, but I think LA will be too strong. I haven't followed much of this season except for the Cubs, but Ohtani on LA seems like a real star. Their pitcher today had another complete game, second in a row, during the Play-offs. LA just have too much talent.
