Stupid AO organiser bastards. The comp starts a week later than last year. Will be back at work in the second week.

It’s for the Laver Cup or whatever it’s called. Players had an almighty whinge last year that the end of that (due to weather) pushed it too close to the AO. Compromise was a week later do I like it not particularly but I get it.

At least at camp in Michigan the counsellors were together in one cabin and the kids were in tents

Went with mum to Southland on Thursday and one of the stores we were meant to go to was a jewellery store to buy her some earrings. Unfortunately the 3 hour free parking time ran out .

I have no idea what to get my brother. Normally a retired Geelong player writes a book that I can buy.

The United Cup? Not sure why they didn't just keep it as the Hopman Cup. It's basically the same thing, except played in two cities.

That’s the one. Yep was a delay in that last year and players involved basically had a whinge claiming it hurt their preparation. I half get it but then again they have how long off to prepare for the AO?

I actually like the new format the HC was very dated.

Pre AO tournaments are pretty shit. I've lost all interest in them now, it's all about the AO

I suppose I could stay down the beach house 3 weeks now, instead of 2, cause of the later start.

Yeah it is because I heard on the radio the other day that some player was going to play. It's not even a proper tournament so what's the point ? I guess the players just use it for practice.
