Had a taste for pizza today, so got the special buy one get one free. Was going to get the large size, but I don't think I could finish both in two days, so got two small similar to what I got last time. Can't beat the $14.94 price total. Totally full and have the second one for tomorrow.

Zsa Zsa is OK. She must be, because she's bothering me to get her something to eat a bit early. Normally I don't feed her until 5pm or when I get back from collecting my dinner.

We'll see if my electricity bill stays the same with the extra a/c unit. Now I can turn the living room one on and close the bedroom door. So far it's working fine.

It's kind of strange(and somewhat difficult) getting old. I've had really bad stomach problems on and off the past few days. I felt well enough to get pizza on Saturday, yet yesterday my stomach growled almost all day. Today? Felt awful in the morning, but have felt better since having lunch - smoked salmon and cream cheese on an English muffin. Maybe my body just reacts better to posh food. I dunno.

I also had a hard time walking down to the community room to pick up my dinner. I had to stop and push myself backwards in my walker. However, I feel pretty good at the moment before I go to bed. God knows how I'll feel tomorrow.

Tried Aldi on Doordash today. They had a special of 40% off over $60. I rarely shop there so it took a while to go through all of their products. Thought I'd try a few unfamiliar items like refrigerated enchiladas and a salsa dip. I get free delivery and lower service fee so it was a good deal. Shopper chose items and there was only one substitute. However, he had a few other stops before me so it took a bit of time, a little over an hour. Not bad. Nice to have a quick alternative to Coles and Woolies.

We shop at Aldi every week. There are certain items/produce that are cheaper than Coles/Woolworths and they are just as good.

It's so nice having the heat in the living room now. I actually woke up at 4:30am and put the heat on in my bedroom for ten minutes and then went back to sleep. Don't think I'll be going down to collect my dinner today.

Well... I had a fall this afternoon and pressed my Mepacs alarm. I was using my walker and going into the kitchen to put plates in the sink when I passed out for a second and fell on the tiles of the kitchen floor. My pills alarm went off about the same time in the living room. My BP must have been pretty low when I went to the kitchen since it was time for the next round. I couldn't get up. Mepacs rang the village manager who came over to check on me. I pushed myself into the living room and was able to take my pills. Mepacs got in contact with 000 and I spoke to a doctor who ordered an ambulance. They took two hours to arrive since my case wasn't deemed an emergency. The paramedics got a lifting chair and got me up. Since I wasn't injured I didn't go to hospital. I was in shock for a few minutes since falling is the one thing I'm afraid of. Luckily things turned out OK this time.

Glad you're ok and that you didn't injure yourself. That would have been scary.

I talked to a triage nurse before I had the doctor via telehealth. Since I didn't have any real pain after the fall, I wasn't deemed an emergency. It just was uncomfortable lying on the living room floor. There's carpeting, but cement under it. I did have a pillow under my head. The angle I was on was uncomfortable. I didn't mind waiting since I know what it's like waiting for an ambulance when it's a real emergency like when I had the saddle pulmonary embolism five years ago.
