This weekend is the first time I won't be going to see the team play. I live in Adelaide, so every year I attend the AAMI Stadium games.

I just can't get excited about a game anymore and I completetly forgot to book my tickets because thats how far down the pecking order Richmond have become for me this year...

Not good enough - you support the side regardless of how bad they are going. I sure would anyhow even if its for the younger players of Richmond then anyone else.

many richmond supporters down in melbourne would love to go, and here you are saying that you just can't be bothered.

...and you will miss our turning point. Where we will start out march to september.

and im sure as soon as they start winning, you'll be back on the bandwagon cheering like the rest of the heartless twats out there. i live in brisbane and havent seen the tiges play at the gabba in 3 years. every year the draw comes out and go "F*** they've screwed us again." luckily we have the game at the coast which i will def be going to.

tools like you that say, "oh i couldnt be bothered coz theyre losing, are what makes the club worse off."

You don't want to miss the inclusions of Cotch, Thursty, Hughes, Morton and Patto. This is the day Terry will play the correct 22 and this will be a history changing event where the curse will be lifted from the RFC

I hear you mate :(

Just turn up at the gate Sante and buy tix there

Nah, he's missed the boat. You've got to get in early at AAMI or you're ****ed. :o

Sante, grow some balls , get your head up, scarf on and get to the game. You can't be a Tiger supporter and be part time. If you want to go support who is currently winning, do so but if you want to be a Tiger supporter it is something you earn and never lose commitment to. I am flying in from Tassie for the game. Booked it a few weeks back but do you think I wanna cancel......no way. Whether we win or get belted I will walk out still Tiger proud so long as we have a genuine dip. Am probably deluded but I actually think we might be a chance here.

He aint alone.

How many people on this board will be making up the empty seats around our games as the season progresses.

Im rethinking going to the Essendon game. Some people are just fed up.

I'll be there as well, flying over 2 weeks in a row. Must just be me but being part of this club is in my blood and I want to go. I will moan, berate, swear and most likely walk out disapointed but there is something about making that walk up from Punt Road surrounded by lots of other Tigerheads that lifts me every time. Somehow makes me more determined, weird I know. Still get the same rush after 40 years. Whether I end up in the Grog Squad singing my lungs out or in the Cricketers crying into my beer, its all part of it for me. I think that right now there is no better place to be than around other Tiger supporters, beats the shit out of sitting at home depressed all by yourself.

lifeblood of the club mate.

Without that attitude from many of our supporters we would have folded.

That's different. You live in Melbourne and have 16 games to choose from.
If I lived in Adelaide I would definitely be going to both games at AAMI.

Our annual cricket club bus trip is on again TT. London Tavern at 5pm. Will see you there.

Not wrong there. Its always good to be around fellow Tigers. Will be getting to the pub this Sunday with my Tigers gear on and hope to run into a few, meet a few and either enjoy it or cry into my beer alongside fellow Tiges:thumbsu:

what TT says is too true, I first bought a membership in 1983 coz I couldnt belieev how bad we were going and had to see it to believe it...To say I've enjoyed every minute of it would be a stretch , but I'd do it all again..it's the kindred spirit, we're tigers:thumbsu:...we'll get it right, even if a ****en revolution is required

I live in Adelaide and I'm not going.

Only because of illness not because I think we're gonna get thumped..

I used to do the same and sat through the eighties and the nineties.

Boy, the late eighties, there was no light at the end of the tunnel.

But this year has left me as flat as Frawleys last year.

You guys must be wearing.

1983 wasnt a disastrous year. Could have put it down to lack of hunger from a team that still had plenty of premiership players although without Cloke and Raines. it was more into the mid eighties that it went pair shaped.

Yeah,I went to the Y and J and just drank and drank and talked to anyone in yellow and black I could to ease the pain.

Greatest supporters on the planet!!

That's what makes Richmond atm the supporters, the players are way behind and need to play 5 years in a row of finals football to catch up to the loyal Richmond supporters.
