The team just does not have enough players that can dispose of the ball cleanly with their first touch. They get to it but just give it back.

Forget disposal - besides Hase we don't even have anyone who can even pick the bloody ball up with their first touch.

That's why we struggle with clearances - the ball pings around off our blokes like a pinball until the opposition invariably pick it up cleanly first go and whisk it away.

We wouldn't have to worry about picking the ball up off the turf if we could hit a ****ing target.. and by target I dont mean the bloody oposition team! Time after time after time after time after time this week and last week we just couldn't hit a target. Its pathetic. I play womens footy and even we can occasionally hit a target that plays for our team.

Guess I wont be singing the song AGAIN this year in Melbs...

What about Suban's pickup in the goalsquare? Would have been goal of the week if he jailed it.

Suban will be a star.

BTW did anyone see the absolute soda Palmer dropped during a ruck contest? Sandiland literally tapped it down his throat, if Palmer had opened his mouth he would have been half a chance of swallowing the ball. I think he actually dropped it twice in a row before finally an Essendon player picked it up :)
