geez.
I was only listening to SEN today thinking how much it must suck
for some of the other teams to lose players so soon.
Fish out of water.
Rd 3-4 we'll see him back.
Opens the door.

Bad news for Fish ..but it could have been a lot worse .
I'd like to see Setanta lurking in our forward line ..can take a mark and will always have a red hot dip when the opposition have the ball .

Edwards looks a likely type as well ..can take a nice grab .

pressure on jake edwards........ maybe t-bird can can play thre....we now posses the worst forward line in the comp apart form adleiade

Im not too sure about that, we do have the best ff in the comp. Who needs a forward line when you have Judd, Murphy, Gibbs, Stevens, Walker, Simmo and Carratz in the midfield. :D

Sort of wishful thinking but maybe it isnt broken. There has been no statemet or article from the club and its not in the sports news. There was no vision of him going into the doctors like there was for the other 2 and there has been no confirmation.
have a look at the herald sun website

this guy is a fake. he is not a carlton supporter.
WTF?!? What is so upsetting about me saying that his body falls to pieces??

Fake?? If being a realist and actually knowing something about the game makes me a fake, then so be it. If being a blindly optimistic muppett makes you a Carlton supporter, then so be it.

A BROKEN thumb will sideline Carlton forward Brad Fisher for up to two months. The Blues said Fisher had a pin inserted to the base of his thumb today, after sustaining the break during Saturday's match against Port Adelaide.

The 23-year-old is expected to be out for six to eight weeks, which means he could miss up to four matches of the home and away season.

Fisher's loss is a major blow to the Blues, as he was the club's second-highest goal scorer last season, behind Coleman medallist Brendan Fevola.

Happy Birthday, Ox.

Fisher seems to come back early from injuries IIRC.He also doesn't need much time to get back into the swing of things.A couple of regular season games being the worst case scenario isn't all that bad.

Perhaps he IS made of plasticine then? Breaks easy, but pulls himself together quickly.

The real question now: Is Brad Fisher in fact Gumby? Stay tuned for more revelations!

Heard it all from this guy now...Annoying little injuries. Who breaks their cheek bone? seriously.
Get better fast Fish, i had a bad feeling we may get an injury when I saw that Gumbleton went down, im just glad this all it was.

Naturally...I mean the fate of Scott Gumbleton is clearly linked to our players wellbeing...
