If Fisher can finally get his body through 22 weeks of the season and get his kicking right then spoons will be a thing of the past. A forwardline consisting of an onsong Waite, Kennedy, Fisher, Fevola, Betts with Anderson, Walker, Stevens, Simpson, Benjamin, Grigg, Russell and Gibbs streaming forward from the HBF/wing/midfield will be worth it's wait in gold. :) :thumbsu:

Houlihan and Lappin should play forward more this year and Lance should stay in the backhalf to let the next generation in Waite, Edwards, Kennedy, Fevola and Fisher do their thing.

Hartlett and O'hAilpin need his leadership down there. ;)

Fisher sets the example.
Your kicking style gives some people the impression that you're not an accurate kick, but the stats show that you're in the elite class when it comes to set shots. Do you feel confident when lining up and what is it about your action?

I don’t know. I've got a wonky kicking style. I think the old man passed that on to me but, yeah, I do feel confident when I'm lining up for goal. My conversion is something that I want to continue to work on. I've had a fair bit of help from Brett Ratten who's back at the club now and I'm hoping my kicking style might be starting to look a bit better, but the most important thing is that the job gets done and as long as they go through then I'll be happy.

Great interview. One of the best 10 minute interviews I have read. Lots of great questions as well as very detailed answers from Brad Fisher.

I agree with you ILF in that Lance should play back as we have lots of great young foward options. I also think Houlihan should play HFF this year.

Yeah, spot on. Great interview with Fish. Very impressive...defiently has the answers and knows and believes in what he is saying, as well as backing it up. Just really hope he gets over his injury worries and plays all 22 games this year..that'd be gold!! It'll really interesting to see how his kicking at goal are...I just love watching him go for a mark, he's got a really strong grab. It's really exciting!!

GO BLUES!!!

That's my boy.

I have refrained from pumping him up as yet for fear i'll jinx him and he'll get the I word.

I plan on waiting til round 22 to pump up his massive season jsut to make sure i don't put the mozza on him.

So don't menation the I word ok.

Unless it's Inspirational.

I think the club will not know itself this year.

We will have a fit Waite and Fish running around. These two kids have no where near as reached their potential yet.

Fish is one of the best marks going round.

We're going to be a different team this year :thumbsu:

Go blues.

(How many sleeps to go??)
