I read in the HUN today that Cam Howat won richmonds time trial around the tan. I also think i read that he got a time of around 13 mins. Others came about 40 meters behind him and big Richo got 14 mins. I was wondering what some of our boys got in the 3.8 k run. I think Judd got 10.20 for 3.2 k and carrazzo got about 10.40 for the 3.2 but i dont recall any 3.8 k runs. But i was thinking that Judd had 10.20 for 600 meters less so i still think he would beat 13. Am i right and does anyone know any of our time trial results.

BIB - as someone who runs both tracks I can tell you they couldn't be any more different. The "Tan" track has hills, etc. whilst Princes Park track is flat as. Would be impossible to compare times across the 2.....

BTW - I know Richo is a brilliant long distance runner so his time would be right up there with the best (which means Howat's run was brilliant). In fact I think Richo still holds AFL record around the Tan from about 5 years ago.

Really?? Never would have thought that. Always knew that Richo was quick on the lead but never realised he was that fit. Interesting.

You want to look up some records for footy players and their times around the Tan .You'll be astounded!
E.g According to archives I've seen ,one K.Sheedy did it in under 13:00
Also if you remember Steve Ovett ,he did 2 laps in 22:00!!!

I couldn't match that on a Honda GoldWing.

You'd expect that from one of the greatest middle distance runners of all time.

Personally, i couldn't give a rats clacker what the Tuggers are doing. Much rather just focus on what we're doing.
