Hi folks

I was just a kid when the AFL announced Fitzroy was merging into Brisbane in 1996.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I watched The Merger documentary which rekindled my interest in the events leading up to the merger.

As a result, I was advised by several of you on here Dyson Hore-Lacy’s book Fitzroy, was the best book to read about the merger. I since got a copy and was thoroughly fascinated by Hore-Lacy’s book.

There are some terrific books on the Roy Boys, such as FitzroyPete Fitzroy’s Fabulous Century: The 100 Greatest Victories 1897-1996, which I might add is still available for an absolute steal of just $20!

Outside of these two great books, what other Fitzroy books would you recommend?

I’ve attached some of the other well known books on the club to have been published in recent years.

I've actually reduced the price to $15 on eBay if anyone is still after a copy (and I have plenty available).
Once I catch up on a few things, I'll post images of other Fitzroy books that I have in my collection.
