Hey there have been asking for the audio link up on fiveaa for the crows matches to listen to the entire feed. This week they have it up on the site which has started already. But whether they do that every week is another thing.

Anyway here is the link for other weeks just in case they don't, I think it should work for other weeks, but i guess we'll see:

mms://wm9.streaming.telstra.com/ucs-wh_afl0live2

Just play it in windows media player.

Enjoy!

It's the kind of thing where people will appreciate it on a staggered basis, I imagine.

I appreciate it anyway :thumbsu:

I appreciate it as well and I'm certain all the other posters living interstate will do also.

Can we please sticky this link somewhere so it doesn't get lost?:thumbsu:

Once I'm sure the link works in subsequent links I will please a link to this thread in the Important Links sticky thread.

Thank you kind sir.

And thank you Treeman for the OP.:thumbsu:

Bloody ripper. Some chance I'll be out of the country for a few matches later in the year, so this is handy! Cheers, treeman.

Nup just had a play around with the links and they don't work anymore. They must have stopped the thing you used to be able to do.

Damn! Sucks!

I contacted them literally a full month ago asking about it and never got a reply. They have now shut off this 5AA link that used to work.

I can only conclude that they have actually bought the rights to stream the 5AA broadcasts solely for the purposes of preventing people from listening to it on FiveAA.com.au and forcing them to listen to other stations. I can't think of any other possible explanation.

Well, except for the fact that Telstra's website designers are woefully incompetent.

Hang on so they actually never put the fiveaa link up on the afl website?

That is shocking and an absolute disgrace!

Showdown weekend they put it up on the fiveaa website, that is how it should be every week, at least you wouldn't have to go to the crap afl website and wait ages for the links to load to get to the audio.

No, they don't. And I have complained to them about it and simply got no response.

Pathetic really.

Who'd you email stabby? Post it here and we can all email them requesting the link to be put up.

If they don't, then I'm happy to email the person above them until some sort of response comes through.

I'm sick enough of the Crows not having any games on FTA, without putting up with having to listen to frickin SEN or MMM each time they play.

Last year they had up to 4 audio links for games. Why don't they just have as many as available?

Disgraceful!

There are many passionate south aussies wanting to listen to the fiveaa calls.

It took me a while to find where I could contact them when I first looked, it's buried about two pages down in the bottom right from the main page.

I chose the bottom option, with feedback/queries/comments about the website.

Feel free to bombard them with messages, perhaps they'll actually do something about it then.

For all the people with iPod touches/iPhones there is a Nova app which has fiveaa

Interesting, on the way home from the match yesterday I heard McDermott and Rowe talking to someone in Shanghai and the point about the 5AA option not being on the 5AA website or the AFL website was raised. McDermott was pretty adamant that recently the rules have changed and that you were able to listen to the call online on fiveaa.com.au nowadays. Rowe indicated it might simply be the postmatch stuff you can stream.

Hopefully the AFL will keep putting the 5AA option up anyway and there won't be an issue.
